the difference between this one and yellow Motans bag is very little, the fact , i used to get 4 bags a month, 2 of mortans $8 the green and than two of mortans yellow $6-7, this $40 a bag for essentials is ridiculous$160!!! to maintain my water??? i rather get the same brand that is just as good quality for normal price, i can go to tractor supply and they're still $8 i feel something needs to be done or people stop buying they will lower the prices, i myself bought out LOL when they went on clearance got them for $3 everyone advertised them for $$50!!! 2 months later they're back to their normal price, $20

Walmart has the best price for this. Other than that, I am unable to confirm if the Morton green bags are better than any other brands. I just recently installed water softener and needed to fill up my brine tank with 2 bags of salt for the first time so I went with the green bags

Morton Clean and Protect with Rust Defense enhances my favorite water softener pellets. The 5-in-1 benefits surpass the 4-in-1 benefits. The large size of the pellets makes them easy to pour into the softener, and the bag has a convenient tear corner.

We like the product as it comes on a bag that has strong handles, so we can pick it up %26 pour it into the unit. However, this time when we used the outdoor pick up, the bag was damaged and salt was spilling out. Made it hard to handle when pouring. i have no suggestions, other than leave the damaged bag in store for people to decide to buy or not. At pick up we had not choices. We needed the product.

it was delivered a day late and when it was delivered one bag was torn, the bag was about the third one under so I didn't notice it until I started lifting the bags. We stayed home all day waiting for the delivery because we didn't want to miss the delivery. The communication could of been better.

I've been using this water softener salt for about a year now on the recommendation of a tech that came out to service my unit and he told me due to the iron content in my water that it would be good to run this about every third batch to help my system run better. It is a few more dollars a bag than the normal pellets, but it does seem to help and will continue doing it which equates to using about 8 bags of this per year on average based on my water usage.

Normally something that we do not purchase online. However, am currently recovering from joint replacement surgery and unable to pickup and carry home from store. Delivery was a day later than promised but the weather played into that. Have made online purchases from Walmart in the past and have not been disappointed with the service or the condition of the merchandise, and can add this purchase to the list.

Normally, I get my salt myself but recently I hurt my back. My neighbor, who also has a water softener, told me about the great service at Sam’s Club. You order online, drive to Sam’s Club when your order is ready, when you arrive they come out and load your vehicle. Outstanding service!

Works great to keep your water not only soft but kills the rust. If you have a well that provides water to your house you might have iron in your water. I have been using this product for years in my well. On average you only need one bag a month, but ultimately depends on your water usage.

Makes the water softer and helps remove iron from your water. The biggest problem we have us finding the salt. So many places have stopped carrying the green bag. As long as I can order online, I guess that will be the way to buy it. That beats going around town trying to find it anyway.
