This is a terrific product! It makes a huge difference-- no more rust and mineral stains. The regular salt was fine with mineral buildup but not much for rust. This product has made all the difference. I highly recommend it to anyone with a well.

This salt does a good job, I have been using it for 6 years. The ability to order ahead and have it loaded in my truck is a huge benefit. I buy 12 bags at a time and it will last me 5 months.

Product is dirty and broken up. I have purchased these pellets for many years but the past several over the year have been the same poor quality. What's going on Morton?

Morton Clean and Protect with Rust Defense makes mu orange rusty water crystal clear. It's a reliable and wonderful product if you have hard water or iron/rusty water.

We like the product as it comes on a bag that has strong handles, so we can pick it up %26 pour it into the unit. However, this time when we used the outdoor pick up, the bag was damaged and salt was spilling out. Made it hard to handle when pouring. i have no suggestions, other than leave the damaged bag in store for people to decide to buy or not. At pick up we had not choices. We needed the product.

Walmart has the best price for this. Other than that, I am unable to confirm if the Morton green bags are better than any other brands. I just recently installed water softener and needed to fill up my brine tank with 2 bags of salt for the first time so I went with the green bags

It’s salt %26 it’s heavy! It’s a necessity for home water softening system %26 it does the job. It’s never caked or stuck so it’s obviously packed well in very sturdy plastic bags the somehow don’t get ripped or torn from all abuse I give them just trying to get them inside the house. Of course it’s Morton brand so I expect good stuff.

We are on well water and this salt works amazing for iron stains. We use about 4 bags every 4 months in our water softener. I can always tell when we are getting low because my sink, washer, and tub will start to have an orange tint. Our dishwasher cleans our dishes wonderfully and our clothes never have any iron stains! I also love how soft my skin feels after a shower.
