Great price. The heads of romaine stay fresh as it does take a few weeks to eat the five heads so no waste. I prepare a couple of heads for use by cutting off the end, rinsing well under water, spin dry to n a salad spinner, wrap in paper towels and store in a ziplock. Ready to use.

This is a Great value purchase! 3.98 for 5 Trimmed Romane Hearts. No waste with this ourchase. One bag of one not trimmed Romaine at the grocery store costs what 5 trimmed Romaine hearts at Sams. The other great thing, they lasted 2 weeksat home, not the short dates from other retailers.

In most cases this is a dirty, bug infested, from no taste to bitter, tough, and in some cases starting to rot on the interior leaves. We have returned this lettuce seversl times, and are given credit. Now I just toss it out for the squirrels, rabbits, and deer. Other times it is the total reverse of the above description. So as my title says, it is HIT OR MISS. Unfourtainly there is no way to really know what is in the plastic packaging. I can not either recommend or recommend.

For some reason, it's tough to get lettuce without a lot of brown showing in the package anywhere near us. Or, the brown and wilting shows up soon after purchase and before we can eat the lettuce. Sam's Romaine is better than most recently available to us. And, there have not been any recalls or issues for us enjoying this romaine. The quantity is excellent and the hearts are full and large.

Lettuce is a staple if you love salads and sandwiches. This is green and crisp. Put it in foil in the fridge and it keeps a very long time. With only two of us, each bag lasts a while but in foil storage we waste none of it. It lasts. We have enjoyed dozens of these bags over the last few years.

Had flavor. Easy to clean and cut up for salads. Used twice to make big salads for work. After cutting and putting in plastic bags,it lasted awhile and was convenient for a quick pre dinner salad after work. The cost to cut up yourself really outweighs precut bags and is fresher. To feed 20-30 ppl, its a great option and saved alot of money.

I’ve been buying romaine lettuce from Sam’s Club for years and have never been disappointed. It’s fresher and lasts longer in my refrigerator than lettuce I’ve got from their competitors. So I will go out of my way if need be to get it at Sam’s Club.

I am very pleased with the fact that there were six nice full heads of romaine hearts in this package compared to most places you go to grab it they're really squishy Airy and you pay a fortune for him and best of all my guinea pigs love them and they're extremely picky on what we give them mainly because my husband spoils them

My rabbits love this Romain lettuce they enjoy it so much they won’t eat any other kind and I have tried many different kinds this Romain lettuce taste very good and salads sandwiches or if you would like lettuce along it taste good I just recommend make sure you wash it and that’s it never had a problem

It’s A LOT of romaine, and with just two of us at home, we have to be diligent about eating it before it spoils. But it’s always fresh and perfect. I chop off the bottom and the tips rinse it like crazy and use it on everything: sandwiches, a base for chicken, tuna, and egg salads, and individual leaves layered with bacon, tomato, and mayonnaise for a BREAD-FREE BLT! YUM! And BUMPS IN A LEAF: smear a leaf with peanut butter and drop a few raisins on top. Easy, healthy, delicious!
