This is usually my go to for lettuce. It's great for salads, delicious on the grill. But sadly this last few times I've purchased it in curb side I've received worse and worse product. My last bag was so bad and wilty when I stripped all of the bad lettuce off I was left with less than half the bag. At least we had a rabbit to feed it to.

It’s A LOT of romaine, and with just two of us at home, we have to be diligent about eating it before it spoils. But it’s always fresh and perfect. I chop off the bottom and the tips rinse it like crazy and use it on everything: sandwiches, a base for chicken, tuna, and egg salads, and individual leaves layered with bacon, tomato, and mayonnaise for a BREAD-FREE BLT! YUM! And BUMPS IN A LEAF: smear a leaf with peanut butter and drop a few raisins on top. Easy, healthy, delicious!

I used to buy this all the time, but recently I don’t know what’s going on at this location(Honolulu), They are selling stuff that beyond expiration date like this Romaine lettuce the Expiration date was in November, I got it on Dec 02, 2024. Should not be selling stuff that past expiration date, The people are paying with their hard earned money, You shouldn’t do that. What happened if people eat them and got sick? please think about that.

Sam's Romaine is always fresh and crisp, I seldom have any waste (I don't use wilted leaves) from it and that's not true for other area stores. The pricing is excellent. I wash mine when I get it, dry, then put in green bags and it keeps for three weeks.

We buy the hearts of Romain frequently as we prefer Romain lettuce for our salads and we have salad nearly every day. These last well when treated with care. I only cut what I’m going to use and place the rest in a Ziploc bag. A very economical choice.

A bag of Lettuce Heads.. who doesn't need that? We love salads and we love to add the crisp crunch of romaine hearts to our salads so for the price on convenience this is a great grab and go item that is a regularly shopped product for our household.

Was molded and went bad after 3 days in fridge

Lasts a long time without going bad. It tastes excellent and fresh.

Good value. Variety of uses. Keeps for a while.

The only lettuce I eat. I give some to my Mom to share.
