Use romaine in salads, wonton soups, and sandwiches... these are super fresh and an excellent buy. They go with nearly everything. I use them on BLTs and in my soups. Delicious.

These romaine hearts are crisp, large, and perfect for salads, wraps, or even using as low-carb "bread" for sandwiches. They stay fresh longer than smaller packs I've tried elsewhere. The 6-count is plenty for a household and a fantastic deal—always stock up when I go to Sam's. Highly recommend!

I honestly feel like these packages get lighter every time I buy them. Yes, they still have 6 romaine hearts but those hearts are not dense, if that makes sense. Less lettuce for the same price and in the same packaging. It seems a bit like they've changed the variety of romaine they sell - bulky light hearts instead of the densely leafed variety of a year or so ago. These also tend to have extensively bruised leaf tops, which I'm fine to eat at home but wouldn't add to anything I was taking to a potluck, etc. The bruised tops means they start to rot faster as well, fair warning.

We've been buying this Romaine lettuce for years and it's usually very fresh with nice thick long green leaves. The last two times all the bags have been that hard yellow center part and barely and greens. I went through 8 boxes in the cooler and they were all like this and the bags were at least double the weight because they were all the hard yellow centers. I'm still shocked that they even tried selling this garbage there. This is at the Bentonville, AR Sam's Club which is surprising because this is the home of Walmart's main corporate headquarters which is usually better than most areas.

Ordered via pick up through Plus membership. Received item that was not edible due to major rust. Surprised that this was still being sold let alone selected to be sold for Pluks pick up. Disappointing!

Hearts, Romain lettuce tips were brown within one day. Very very disappointed. I didn’t call for a refund but I feel like I should have. Very disappointing because I ordered some of them for a solid that day. They are quite expensive and they should be in good condition when delivered, but they were not.

The Romaine lettuce was bitter. Apparently a bit overripe.

I ordered this romaine lettuce this morning 3/2/26 and it was delivered this afternoon by a Sams driver. Anybody can see it is old and out of date! Expired 2/23/26. Why is it being delivered today me when it’s over a week out of date?? Sams has to do better!!
