Lasted no time. Had the same problem with brussel sprouts I bought 3 days ago. They were half brown when I cut into them last night. They were not expired. Also, fresh flowers I bought were supposed to last until 7/21. Half of them fell apart right out of the package and had to be tossed.

I usually shop on line and then pick up at the store - - it works well but this time the person who gathered my things put the lettuce in the freezer not the cooler so you can imagine the color of black my lettuce turned 2 days later. I didn't notice this when I checked out but will work it out at the store next shopping day.

Recently I’ve had an issue with fresh vegetables from major grocery stores. Everything goes bad before my family has a chance to eat it. I have 4 adults and 2 kids in our home. This is a large pack of lettuce and it is still fresh and I’m on the last head. It’s bell at least a week since purchase and it’s not limp or brown yet. A plus in my book.

Every time I have purchased these, I don't get to them right away when I put in my fridge. This last time it was a week, yet still firm with no dead leaves. I cleaned them as usual, and makes a delicious romaine salad. I usually give 1 or 2 heads way as 6 heads is a lot and better priced than the local farmers market or grocery store!

My rabbits love this Romain lettuce they enjoy it so much they won’t eat any other kind and I have tried many different kinds this Romain lettuce taste very good and salads sandwiches or if you would like lettuce along it taste good I just recommend make sure you wash it and that’s it never had a problem

When these are in stock, they are so great! The price is awesome for this many romaine lettuce hearts/heads. I always take four out right away and place in gallon baggies, squeezing the air out. Those keep a little longer in the fridge this way while you use the other 2.

Lettuce is a staple if you love salads and sandwiches. This is green and crisp. Put it in foil in the fridge and it keeps a very long time. With only two of us, each bag lasts a while but in foil storage we waste none of it. It lasts. We have enjoyed dozens of these bags over the last few years.

We've been buying this Romaine lettuce for years and it's usually very fresh with nice thick long green leaves. The last two times all the bags have been that hard yellow center part and barely and greens. I went through 8 boxes in the cooler and they were all like this and the bags were at least double the weight because they were all the hard yellow centers. I'm still shocked that they even tried selling this garbage there. This is at the Bentonville, AR Sam's Club which is surprising because this is the home of Walmart's main corporate headquarters which is usually better than most areas.

When I order online, oftentimes, the packages are filled with very small lettuce heads. Basically, two or three can make one. It's a search to find sufficient product that isn't already turning bad. For some reason, the quality and fridge life are both decreasing.

I buy the 6 pack of romaine every 2 weeks. However this time I was less than happy. Upon opening the pack I noticed the outer edges on the leaves were already turning brown. Oh well I thought bruising happens. Upon taking out the first head I noticed it was partially rotten. Not 1 of the heads was in perfect condition. I don't think I'll be buying romaine from Sam's for a while.
