Wilted, very dark green leaves. Previously, this was my “go to,” as was always excellent quality. Hopefully this was a one off. Given that the packaging hides the top two thirds of the lettuce, I suspect this was the distributor trying to get rid of poor quality stock.

This lettuce after 2 days is going bad. This has happened to me so much in the past.

this romaine comes from Salinis CA and has been recalled for E Coli

Three out of the 6 lettuce heads had the top half of it rotten. I have been noticing the same for the past several purchases.

The last two times I bought this for my restaurant the centers of all the romaine have been black and/or rotten. Very disappointing.
