This is the third time I’ve gotten this lettuce when at least one of the stocks was rotted. Looked good from the outside but when I opened it up for a salad for a large group of people -three Stalks were rotten on the inside. Sams needs to either change their vendor or stop selling it!

The quality of these have REALLY gone downhill!! They were not "hearts" at all! Trash.... literally trash! Threw away most of them! By the time I got the bitter outer leaves off, there wasn't even enough left to make a salad! Aldi has better quality romaine hearts! They're usually much higher quality... not at all now

I've never seen romaine so full of bugs. There was a variety of types and sizes of bugs sometimes on every leaf of the heart. I've purchased before and never had a problem like this. I don't think I'll purchase again. A couple bugs on the outside is to be expected, but the number of bugs in this bag was shocking.

I'm impressed by the freshness and quality, not to mention the value. It is days later, and the leaves are still fresh and crisp. Of sure, some rust on some leaves and the core, but this is easily trimmed. I hesitated to buy these, thinking it was too much romaine, but I'll easily use these before they go to waste. I highly recommend!

Wilted, very dark green leaves. Previously, this was my “go to,” as was always excellent quality. Hopefully this was a one off. Given that the packaging hides the top two thirds of the lettuce, I suspect this was the distributor trying to get rid of poor quality stock.

This doesn’t look like this does not look like the exact brand that my store sells yes does not look like the exact romaine that might Sam’s Club sell but this is the only one listed the last couple packs I have purchased have been rotten on the inside half thrown out about two packs of romaine and would not recommend

I always buy these from here, I love them. However, the past 3-4 times I've bought them and use them after a few days, I find them moldy and growing little white hairs. I don't know if I'm not storing them properly in my fridge, but I've been storing them the same as I have the past year and they would last 2-3 weeks. But these last 2 months they spoil very quickly

I see a lot of complaints on here, but anytime I purchase it I’m always satisfied. I always transfer all of the heads into ziploc bags to make them last longer. If I leave them in the original package they tend to get all limp but that’s just how it is and I don’t mind going the extra mile to preserve my produce since food is not cheap.... and yes I’ve found bugs in mine too.. I just wash them out. That’s how it is. They are grown outside in nature and it’s hard to keep nature out. So when I see bugs I think of it as a good sign that maybe the product isn’t laden with pesticides and harmful chemicals. I’d rather deal with the critters. I guess it depends on your location and which sams club you shop at but I love the product. It also depends on how picky of a person you are and what kind of standards you have. Nothing is perfect but It’s delicious, healthy, and very affordable for a good amount!

Usually good quality. Last weeks package was so little, and bitter! It was yellow, and might have been old. Should have returned to store, but had it already cleaned and cut up in my bowl. Normally half a bag fills my bowl. Barely 3/4 filled...I will return next time, even if I have to throw it in a plastic store bag...
