I knew it was something off about the scent of the soap i have been scavenging trying to find the original scent and come to website to see IAM NOT ALONE with the scent change. I used my last new scent bar and won't purchase again until i smell that original scent again I know reviewing it won't make a difference but glad I can voice my opinion about the change you can tell it has been changed and I don't like it

Was excited to find this soap as it left the retail store shelves here in Canada long ago. I remembered how much I enjoyed how it left skin feeling and the gentle yet present fragrance. The fragrance is similar but something has definitely been changed. Opening the multi pack, I was overwhelmed by the scent! Really very strong and not all that pleasant. Sorry that I bought a 16 pack! Have opened a bar to use and can only hope that the scent will soften. Familiar to the soap I so enjoyed, but for whatever reason, way too intense now, bring back the old formula!!

PRODUCT RECEIVED IS NOT WHAT IS PORTRAYED ONLINE! Caress Bars have changed their original formula. I THOUGHT I was buying the original Beauty Bars as the picture online showed, but instead was sent the "new %26 improved" SOAP bars. The scent smells like cheap koolaid %26 the bars are like SOAP with a yucky residue. I was unable to find the original bars in "brick %26 mortar" stores, so tried to get these online which APPEARED to be the original formula. They sent the "koolaid" SOAP bars instead. I'm returning %26 switching to different brand of BEAUTY BARS that don't have the soap-type sticky residue %26 smell better. I'm hoping others will feel the same way and eventually Caress will bring back the Original Beauty Bars with the pleasant scent and no sticky residue. Please oh please!!!!!

I opened the shipping box and the floral smell was so overwhelming I couldn't even bring it in the house! I remember using this years ago and it had a light, nice smell but this, whew, I opened the box under my carport and it was so thick under there even my husband was complaining and I only opened one box of the soap. I called for a return and they were super professional, did a quick return and told me to donate or dispose of the soap not to return it. I will be giving it to my friend that does use this soap and lives on a fixed income, every little bit helps!

I normally do not write reviews. The only reason why I am writing this is because I am sensitive to certain senses. When I purchased the caress so pictured above, it shows it’s kind of in a peach colored box. That was before they changed the smell of the soap to more of a rose smell. So buying it was deceiving to me because I thought I was gonna get the peach colored box of original scent> Just wanted to leave a message here in case anybody else is thinking they are going to get the original sent unfortunately I will not be able to use this soap. Been all in all purchasing it and receiving it was fine..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used to before, but the sense is what gets me. 🌸The white peach and orange blossom smell so fresh and floral without it being overpowering. I'd lather really well, leaves my skin feeling, clean and most importantly soft without stripping.

Appreciated the scent is so soft and soap doesn't leave skin dry

Why did you change the scent? I have been using this bar soap daily for over ten years and it was because of the scent. Also, it doesn't lather up like it use to.
