[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these complimentary Daily silk bar soaps from Caress and Influenster in exchange for my opinion. I really enjoy using these soap bars because they smell and lather so nice. They are smooth and feel silky until you wash it off completely. I noticed it did dry my hands/skin but nothing a good lotion can’t fix. I will only be using these for hand soaps and I think they’re great for that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's good depending what your goal is, the smell is very strong and it stays on for hours after the shower, However, it did not feel smooth like my usual soap, I felt like it left my skin dry and is not something I like. Gave it 3 stars because the smell does last.

The new scent or formula whatever it is recently please change it back to the old one. It doesnt smell or feel the same. I have only used Caress the last 20 years and now I am going to have to find a new soap because I dont like the new smell and it makes my skin dry, Im so sad.I thought I bought the wrong soap but it says "new" on it so I know its the same one I always buy.

As others have similarly said, I too have been using the "Daily Silk" soap for 30+ years and have loved it! I even took bars with me when I would travel overseas on business trips for multiple years. BUT when I returned to the US from my most recent trip and reordered my favorite soap, I was met with a product that smells completely different! Not even close to the same. The new formula scent is SUPER strong and I can still smell it lingering in the air hours later in my bathroom! It also does not leave my skin as soft smooth as the previous formula and makes my skin "squeaky" after rinsing which is one thing I disliked about other soaps and why I have used the Caress product for so long. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am. Soap is one of those things that impacts your "smell", and now I feel like I smell totally different and not in a good way! I will unfortunately be looking for a new everyday soap as I just cannot tolerate this new formula/scent. This is the first product review I've every done online, but I felt it was necessary. So sad!!

I’ve used the original caress bar soaps for years, it was my absolute favorite. Ive used the new one but it’s not even half as good, it does not have the pleasant fragrance, or the nice feel on my skin. The new formula leaves my skin dry and I hate it. Could you PLEASE go back and at least still have the original formula and scent as an option? If something is great don’t fix it. Not all changes are good.

When I do use soap bars it's typically Dove because I have sensitive skin and most other soaps don't work well for me. However, I decided to give this a try as I received it for free in exchange for my honest review. Right out of the box it smelled great but I was skeptical because it has a floral scent usually a red flag for sensitive skin folk. However I still tested it out. This soap bar is truly moisturizing! My skin felt silky after rinsing so much that I thought I still had soap in it. For that reason alone I rate it pretty high. I don't like that I can't see the ingredients anywhere on the box which is another red flag for me. However, it smells great and feels great. But I'll have to give it some time to see how it reacts with my skin.

The soap in the terrible pink box (I have a family with young men who would NEVER want to use pink soap) makes your skin feel rubbery. The smell is just “off” and way too floral. YUCK. We have been loyal longtime users of the original formula (orange/peach colored box) for decades. All of us prefer it to other soaps - and it is peach colored, which no one finds objectionable. The original soap leaves skin feeling smooth and moisturized. And the smell is great for men and women. Bring back the original and fire the idiot Marketing dolts that pushed out the “new look & refreshed scent”. If it’s not broke why fix it. I just paid a ridiculous amount to try to order 8 bars of the original online after facing only the "new" terrible pink stuff in our local supermarkets.
