This one is most certainly more soft and subtle. Fortunately, the original is something I keep stocked in my house. I'm very glad I had the opportunity to try this product.However, this is something I wouldn't purchase going for because the original is better 2 me

I’m usually afraid of trying stuff that’s super scented like this because of my sensitive skin but I had no issues! I need to find this in a body wash!!

The Caress bar of soap was my favorite for over 20 years. Now, with the ingredient changes, it went from a moisturizing soap to a dry skin feel. I made the mistake of purchasing the large package of the soap, not realizing how unsatisfied I would be. Looking into a new brand.

I've been using Caress soap for at least 45 years (I'm 51, so it could be a little longer). Basically since I can remember. I didn't know they changed the scent until now because I switch up my scents when I get used to one. I rotate. I just received the daily silk body wash and am so disappointed. This isn't the world class perfume scent. I say, don't mess with something unless it's broken and this was definitely not broken. Please bring the old scent back and also create a lotion with the old scent. Please, please, please! I won't buy Caress anymore because it's not the same. I'm so sad.

I have been using Caress Daily Silk for over 30 years. The scent is so clean and refreshing. Imagine my disappointment when I went to purchase more only to find out they have changed the scent. The new scent is absolutely nauseating. And if I cannot find the original, I will have to search for a new brand of bar soap to use. I am extremely bummed out by this decision.

I've been using Caress White Peach Daily silk bars since I could purchase my own soap as a teenager. I'd liked it before then, when visiting my grandma, and she had been using it since before I could remember. I enjoyed that it's scent was a light natural almost soothing fragrance. Not the chemically fruity, chemically floral, or baby powder smells usually relegated to women's soaps. I also loved that it left my skin feeling soft. Recently I've been having trouble finding it at my usual store. This last stretch of time, I couldn't find it for near a month. I finally saw it at my local grocery store, and scooped up a set. Almost missed it due to new color packaging going from a sedate peachy color, to very pink. Figured it was just a new printer ink being tried out. I finally went to use one for the first time today. To say I was unimpressed and unhappy would be an understatement. I finally noticed that the packaging stated "New Look & Refreshed Scent". Already a was a bit weary. As soon as I pulled one box from the cellophane the set of 6 was wrapped it, not even opening the box yet, the smell practically kicked me in the face. It was almost strong enough to set off my asthma. Powering through, I went about opening the box and placing it in the shower thinking a bit of water will help tone down the smell. What I didn't expect was orange inky dots and lines to show up on the bar once water hit it. Slightly disturbed, I continued on,using it as normal. The whole time, feeling a frown of disgust on my face. As soon as I rinsed it off I was even more upset. Instead of the soft silky smoothness I'd been accustomed to, now the after affect on my skin was of a waxy filmy touch. My beloved experience with my favorite soap has gone from lightly scented silky skin, which makes me happy. To being bombarded with the stench of overpowering chemically induced flowery bouquet, akin to that teenage boy body spray everyone hates, and having sticky waxy skin, which has made me unnervingly upset. My only course of action is to write a review here. Sadly understanding it won't make a difference, while knowing I'll never have that experience back. And, to go scavenger hunting for the 'old/original' boxes, until I have to admit defeat. Because I will absolutely never ever buy the "New" version ever again.
