I have been using Caress since I was little. I am now 50 years old. I do not like the new scent! My Nana before me used it as well and probably for as long as it was invented for. Why couldn't Caress have left it alone? I am sorely disappointed in the new scent when I accidentally ordered it. You have lost a valued, legacy customer in me.

So very disappointed in the new formula, but mostly with the new scent. My family has used Caress for over 40 years and hate the new scent! Why did you change a good thing? Now we are having to try and find a different soap because of the new one. You lost a long time customers and are so disappointed and upset! Please bring back the other scent, the one in the peach boxes please!!!!

I use this because the silky texture and scent. It has floral oil essence. It is a soft and delicate scent. I love how creamy and velvety this bar is. It lathers good and makes my skin feel and smell nice. It has a white peach and orange blossom scent and makes my skin silky smooth.

I've been using Caress Daily Silk for my entire adult life-- what I loved about it was its subtle scent and the fact that my skin felt moisturized after drying off. I've tried the new formula for the past month (July 2024), and it is simply awful. The scent is a much stronger, more floral smell--which, frankly, I could put up with if my skin didn't feel like it'd been scrubbed with an abrasive pad. But there's no moisturizing quality to the new formula. And because of that, I have no choice but to change brands to something else. It's very sad when a company makes such a drastic change to their product that it alienates its most loyal customers. I really hope that Caress will listen to all this feedback (it's all over social media) and return to the previous, more successful Daily Silk formula. The sooner the better.

I have used Caress soap for over 20 years. This new formula change has got to go!! The smell is horrendous, and it leaves a weird film on your skin. When the bar gets wet, it feels slimy. I contacted Unilever with my complaints, and got a response back, basically telling me that I was out of luck. They mentioned that the formula change was because of suggestions from customers. I'm not sure which customers they were, but they weren't die hard Caress users, because if they were, there's no way they would have agreed to something like this. I guess Unilever does not care about their customers. Especially after the email I received. No resolution, no offer for a refund, nothing. I guess I will be returning it back to Sam's and switching to a different soap.
