Bar soap is a must for me as a base clean and caress is on of my top picks. I love how it as the option to exfoliate and I lobe how squeaky clean my body is after using but not dried out. I absolutely love the smell of this Shea and brown sugar, it's subtle and not overpowering at all.

I'm 60 years old and have used and loved this soap for most of my life. Why would you change something that so many people love. I'm extremely sensitive to fragrance and the change that has been made is sickening. I'm very disappointed and will no longer buy your product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve being using caress since I was a kid. It’s the soap that my grandmother would have in her house. This is my first time using the white peach and orange blossom. I love the smell and it’s a very moisturizing smell with a good lather.

Smells real good lather is just okay but I feel like it leaves an oil on my skin I bought the 8 ok and regret that this product is not for me. I do love caress but I picked the wrong bar soap this time. My skin does not like this product at all. There must be something in the ingredients that just doesn't agree with me.

When I washed my hands using the Silk Bar they were immediately lather with the soap and I could feel how silky and smooth they felt. The afterward feeling is not sticking at all!

I’m in my mid 40s and have used Caress my entire life. My mom used it before me, my grandma used it before her, and I used it on my children. Our entire family has always used and loved Caress, it’s a staple in our homes and we have purchased many thousands of bars since we came to America in the 60s. I’m also autistic and it was one of my comfort products that always makes me feel calm and happy. So imagine my horror when I went to buy a new box only to find out my all-time favorite soap is now a completely different, far worse product. At first I thought the store was just out of the classic since the only Caress bars they had were in these new pink boxes next to an empty space. I went to a different store but same situation there. Huh… maybe the packaging just got a redesign? Nope- the wonderful soft scent that’s been a consistent part of my life since childhood has been replaced by something I can only compare to cheap gas station perfume. I cannot believe anyone thought this migraine-inducing stench was an improvement. I hate it so, so much. I can’t even describe how disappointed I am. I’m honestly devastated. Call me dramatic but I feel like crying knowing I might never get to enjoy my favorite scent again. I’m not the only angry customer either, not by far. It’s pretty telling that almost every positive review of the "new and improved" formula contains “this review was collected as part of a promotion”. You must be buying good reviews, cause all the others are full of complaints! You are going to lose a LOT of customers over this unless you listen to us and bring back the formula we actually like. I genuinely can’t understand why you’d RUIN your best product, seriously why? Every time a company reformulates a popular product, customers invariably hate it and quit buying it. This is New Coke, soap edition. STOP FIXING WHAT ISN'T BROKEN! Dove will be getting our money from now on.

Caress has a scent that you can smell in the next room once you open the package. Caress smells wonderful. The soap leaves you feeling and smelling clean. Whatever Caress you chose to buy for example white peach and orange blossoms. That is what you will smell like for the longest time. I recommend this product
