The new scent or formula whatever it is recently please change it back to the old one. It doesnt smell or feel the same. I have only used Caress the last 20 years and now I am going to have to find a new soap because I dont like the new smell and it makes my skin dry, Im so sad.I thought I bought the wrong soap but it says "new" on it so I know its the same one I always buy.

Just opened and used a bar of the new formula/scent. Before I even applied it to my body, I noticed that it felt different while lathering up my wash cloth; it didn't feel as smooth and silky. While washing my body, the scent took on a slightly 'lye' type of smell...I don't know exactly what that was all about, but it definitely didn't smell anywhere near as good as the previous formula...which was HEAVENLY. After rinsing the soap from my body, I noticed that my hands didn't glide smoothly over my skin, like it did with the previous formula. Instead, it was more like worn out wipers chirping erratically over a windshield; with a jerky start/stop motion. Throwing out all the other bars, and going with something different. This new formula is not for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, the smell is sooo good, and it lathers nicely, I do think that these soaps kind of strip ur natural skin barrier versus moisturize ur skin so i definitely out in a good moisturizing lotion after but I do love the bar and love the smell it’s so nice.

This bar soap is not the same as ten years ago when I loved it …. It’s waxy and doesn’t latter or smell good. I’m going back to Dove again I guess, I thought I’d give caress a try again bc I remember the smell and lather were so good, not anymore. This 16 pack is going straight back to Sam’s club.

I absolutely love this soap! I have dry and sensitive skin and have used Dove, but Dove irritates my skin. So I decided to try this and I'm in love! This doesn't irritate my skin and it does moisturize very well! And the scent is just awesome! Will be my family's soap from here on out!

used this soap exclusively for over 20 years, but now have to find another brand. You have certainly changed more than the "look" and scent, Now you are just another cheap perfume bar like you find in a cheap motel. The scent burns my eyes and my skin has never been more dry and itchy. Congrats to your team they have found a soap that repels customers! BYE BYE!!!!!!

I have been using Caress for years and have loved it. However, the "new" formula is awful. It feels like wax and is no longer the smooth moisturizing soap I have been very happy with. I will never purchase this again. It actually feels like castile soap now, which is may very well be.
