I take it because I've had a stent inserted into one of my heart's arteries and due to protocol, am now on statins for the rest of my life...and from what I've been told or read (can't remember which), statins reduce the body's capability to produce CoQ10...and then your product's superior absorption rate is why I take your brand.

I have been taking this form of CoQ10 for at least 18 years and would never be without it. Lots of science behind it to show that everyone over 40 has a deficiency and is unable to produce it in sufficient supply. This brand is the most reasonable I have found in the marketplace.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We're now using Mega (ubiquinol) rather than Ultra (ubiquinone) because the Mega is already broken down to the CoQ10 used by the body. As we age, it becomes more difficult to break down ubiquinone to ubiquinol.... It's great that Qunol provides both options! They also have the best absorption being water soluble....!
