I take one daily with my breakfast and have not experienced any negative effects. As a matter of fact I feel more energy from taking Qunol, and believe that statin drugs may cause fatigue. I also had problems since surgery of an irregular heartbeat and a slow beat (Bradycardia). Since taking Qunol, my heart rhythm has stabilized and become more normal. I used to have Premature Ventricular Contractions of 28%, but now it is down to less than 10%. So I went from PVCs of 1 in 10 beats to 1 in 4. That's a pretty good improvement. Also, I wore a 24-hour holter monitor last month and the range of my average heartbeat is not as low as it used to be. CoQ10 is supposed to help with congestive heart failure, so maybe it is working. I will have an echocardiogram in the fall, so I am anxious to see what my injection fraction is. I feel better overall since I began taking the CoQ10 and I will continue to take it. My heart surgeon and cardiologist are pleased with my improvement.
