[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been on satins for almost 20 years and have taken a qunol CoQ10 product everyday and have never had any symptoms of CoQ10 deficiency. A couple of years ago I switch to the Ubiquinol version and even more satisfied. I know that one 100 mg capsule provides the same amount of usable CoQ10 to my system as 300 or 400 mg of some other brand CoQ10.

High cholesterol is in my genes so there's not a lot I can do except to manage my diet and weight, along with taking the supplements I have to be most effective. Qunol ubiquinol is among these, and I consider it an indispensable part of my daily life.

I looked at generic options, but they had soy as an inactive ingredient and I stay away from soy. So the cost difference was well worth it. Additionally, Qunol is water and fat soluble and the generic brands were not. Overall, I saw that Qunol was a better product. And in the short time I have taken this product along with diet, my blood pressure has dropped significantly and I'm no longer worried about my health. I will keep monitoring my progress. I take a statin, and my cardiologist recommends CoQ10 as a supplement, when on statin therapy. As a pharmacist, I know that absorption is key for any medication or supplement to be effective...if you can't absorb it, you can't get the benefit!

So, it made sense to me to seek the more absorbable form: ubiquinol. I have been using "Qunol Mega Ubiquinol, 100 mg, 120 count" for 5+ years and definitely believe it is a great heart healthy product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most other CoQ10 products do not have ubiquinol in the list of ingredients. My physical and I agree that unless you're CoQ10 had ubiquinol listed, your not going to reap the full benefits of taking CoQ10.
