I also learned that my Staten for cholesterol was also blocking my natural ubiquinol chemical that aids in muscle tissue growth. All of that has been reversed taking Qunol. I'm now able to do strength training and the muscle pain, especially in my legs, has greatly improved. I'm pretty sure I'll be a lifer taking the supplement!

Have not had a problem since and my heart is stronger than before the surgery. Have been taking the tablets, but switching to the liquid, will let you know how it works. The Other Ingredients are OK with the exception of sorbitol and polysorbate 80. There are not a lot of fillers. A good product at a great price.

Upon further research, I landed on a franchise brand and didn't feel any different; my training was just as difficult, even after having taken the brand for a month. I did more research and landed on Qunol. After a week my training seemed less difficult, and I was able to increase my activity to get closer to my goal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my doctor first prescribed Lipitor to lower my cholesterol, my pharmacist suggested adding CoQ10 to my daily medicine intake. He also said the ubiquinol form found in Qunol was the best for absorption and that it would replace the CoQ10 that Lipitor removes. Even though I have to use medicine to lower my cholesterol, it is nice to know that my body doesn't have to suffer the negative effects of the medicine.

I experienced few, if any, side effects for many years until I started to get terrible cramps in my calfs. They were so severe that sometimes I developed bruises on my leg and limped for a few days afterward. My doctor advised potassium rich foods, magnesium and so forth and so on. Nothing worked. One day I was lucky enough to be watching a TV show on which a doctor recommended the use of Ubiquinol as a possible relief for these types of cramps. A little research on my part led me to what was considered the best product which was Qunol. I took 100mg per day. My cramps lessened in severity almost immediately and then started to become less frequent. Sometimes starting but never really tightening and then fading away completely. That was years ago. I am still taking the statin drug as well as Qunol Ubiquinol every day and I have not experienced any cramps whatsoever. I don't think I could recommend another product as highly as I do this one. BTW I am trying the Ultra version for better absorbtion and have little doubt that it will have positive effects.
