Since I'm in my 70's and my body provides less of this necessary coenzyme, I need the easy delivery and heart healthy effectiveness of COQ10. Also, I take statins for cholesterol and this, plus my age, reduces my body's ability to utilize COQ10.

I really don't know how one would know if it's working since it's not like an overnight reaction. However, I have been taking this product for quite a while and I seem to be doing well. Still can't remember a lot anymore but that's probably due somewhat to alcohol splurging in the 1960s... :-)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I take this every day and like it. The only complaint I have with a recent purchase is that a bottle in lot W2008013 had poor quality control. Many of the soft gels had bubbles and several had broken open which made the bottom half of the bottle a gooey mess. They should do a better job removing poor quality soft gels.

Since I am already taking your turmeric, I figured I would give your ubiquinol a try. I have only been taking it for a week, but I do notice a difference. If this works out for me, I will be buying two bottles of this at a time as well.

Have been on statins for years and have tried all to determine which was most efficient for me....problem was their side effects were very problematic.....leg cramping and very susceptible toppling muscles during activity. Was introduced to Ubiquinol about 2-3 years ago and have basically eliminated cramping...take between 4-6 pills daily!
