It's a known fact that as our bodies age, our bodies don't always produce the same levels of many essential nutrients . One of those is CoQ10, which we don't usually have enough of as we age especially if using statins. But you can't see or know that you are lacking this important element. I was taking a normal CoQ10 but saw that Qunol's Ubiquinol is a better version because of it's superior absorption. If you're going to pay the money to take CoQ10 and assume it is helping, why not use the best version so you are giving the product it's best chance to make a difference. So I switched to the Qunol mega CoQ10 for the most active form with superior absorption. If I'm going to take CoQ10 at all, I want to get my money's worth, lol.

It's tough to notice a difference after taking it, but as with a lot of supplements, the benefit isn't something you feel directly, as much as what won't happen. I'm not taking statins currently, but keeping Q10 levels up still seems to be a good idea (especially when you're 70 and still working). And one other (big) thing: Qunol's price is right! Most other Q10 supps are FAR more expensive. Keep it up (or down)!
