When I don't add Qunol Ubiquinol to this regimen, my face literally takes on a gray palor, of which my wife takes prompt note. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started using Ubiquinol CoQ10 several years ago to correct my irregular heart beat. When I take 400 mg a day, I rarely experience any heart fluttering, and if I do, it is very brief. If I do not take the CoQ10, then I can have a long lasting heart flutter multiple times a week. I have a niece with the same heart condition I have who got surgery and has worried much about her condition. I don't worry one bit; just take the 400 mg CoQ10 and my heart is just fine and my energy levels stay up. And this is a great product because better absorption makes a huge difference. Also, about 5 years ago I had gum replacement surgery. The doctor was amazed at how fast my gum tissue grew back on the roof of my mouth after the surgery. I told him I had taken 600 mg of CoQ10 a day for 6 weeks (beginning 2 weeks before the surgery and throughout recovery). He took note because my gum growth was remarkable. And by following his orders and refraining from exercise during that time (except for gentle walks 2 weeks after surgery), I had no bleeding as well. I also have so little discomfort after surgery that I did not buy or take the RX for pain he had given me--only took one regular dose of Tylenol ONCE when I first got home.
