Despite being a pescatarian and having an active lifestyle, by the time I reached 65 my lipid levels had reached a point that concerned me. So four years ago, after doing much research through the National Library of Medicine, and after consulting my physician, I started taking this product along with red yeast rice to see if they would help. Each year since, my total cholesterol and LDL have reduced. I am now 70 years old, and had a physical last week. Both my physician and I are very happy with the latest results! Anti-oxidants have so many additional health benefits anyway, and this form of CoQ10 is much easier for those of us who are older to absorb for whatever reason we take it.
