Love this quinoa

Some thing about those quinoa taste better than other brands. It has a delicious nutty flavor and it's such a great value.

My daily meal...

Ordered this Quinoa because the other type was out of stock. Read in few reviews that packaging was cut but thought that it was some rare instance. I was wrong, my ordered Quinoa packaging was cut the middle and quinoa was all over the box. Disappointed.

This quinoa is quite nice. Mild in flavor and easy to cook. Well prewashed (not at all bitter) and consistent in size. I have found this easy to cook and have substituted it for the rice I had used. Even got my wife to try it and she too loves it. I've found that I can use a variety of spices to flavor it.

Quinoa is a super food staple in my kitchen. I substitute quinoa for rice in most recipes. We like the delicate flavor and extra complete protein nutrition with quinoa. Add onions, tumeric or nearly any other flavoring you prefer to vary the taste. Quinoa is so easy to make in a rice steamer. Add the water, seasonings, set the timer, and it is fluffy and perfectly cooked. I usually make extra and store in the refrigerator to add to a tasty soup, for example.

Kind of mushy textured

The quinoa is a great product when sold in sealed packaging. My package of quinoa was delivered with a slash across the front causing a large portion of the grain to spill out into the shipping box. I called Sam's "customer service" and the lady told me she would issue a refund for the item. This never happened! I paid for a product not safe to eat and it was tossed into the trash.
