[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've purchased a number of Android Wear watches and none even comes close to this Gear S3! The watch is extremely durable and sharp looking. I have received multiple complements while wearing it. A few have even gone out and purchased their own after hearing just how much I love this device. Battery life with the S3's big battery is amazing. I get about 2 days off a charge. This is a define improvement over the S2. The operation system of this watch works flawlessly. Very happy with my investment. Job well done Samsung

On Samsung website they're advertising products stating that these products can withstand water for a long period of time, ok to drop and dust resistant. This information is very very misleading. I'm a service provider and watch my hands occasionally and was told my watch is water damaged because I put in water for too long. This was very disturbing when I know for a fact that the most I do with this watch on is wash my hands. Please don't be misled... I will never by another watch from this company. I have several galaxies and note phone from them and is very concerned at this point. I will be going to other consumers whose products actually does what advertise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really can't find much of a use for this watch. If I have to have my phone nearby, I don't really see the point. I suppose you can use the fitness tracking aspect of the watch and transfer the data to your phone later, but that's about the only advantage to the using the watch over using the same apps on your smartphone. Otherwise, why not just carry around your phone instead? It seems a bit redundant to carry both. With 4G LTE capability however, one could leave his phone behind and free up some bulk from his day. Receiving calls, email, texts, using Samsung Pay, listening to music, etc. without having the phone nearby is the real plus to wearing a smartwatch in my opinion. For now I'll continue to use my Samsung Gear S watch with 3G and maybe I'll replace my Gear S3 Classic watch for the Frontier version with 4G LTE.

The best Samsung Smartwatch so far! I had the Gear S2(Non-LTE) for less than a week and returned it. BECAUSE it did NOT have a speaker. However the Gear S3 has EVERYTHING that could possibly be in a smartwatch! Also the battery is a HUGE improvement from the Gear S2. The Gear S3 is very stylish, looks great, performs well, excellent battery life, and everything else is awesome! I use Samsung Pay on a daily basis and that works flawlessly! S Health is also very useful even though I'm not big on working out, I like how it tracks sleep and daily activities such as walking automatically. One suggestion for the next gen Gear S4 though, I'd like to be able to download ringtones and notification alert sounds to the watch.

Went to the movies, daughters boyfriend well impressed that my watch face was themed to the film Its great when you are out and about not having to get your phone out to answer calls read emails or text messages At the shoot last week it was raining the wife rang and there I was talking to her on my watch,using it with leather shooting gloves on,really enjoyed showing off that feature The other shooters all younger than me were well impressed, one even said I got to get a new phone and watch, to which I replied tech named after fruit is so last decade! Showing off on the way back sat in the back of the Range Rover I found the driver a short cut using the map app on the watch Its great having Tech that makes young people ask the oldey who makes it, where did you get it ?

I bought Frontier S3 a week ago. I have the problem of wake up gesture.its not working. First time it worked and after a week it stopped working. I trying my best to find in this forum to make it work. All failed. Is there any way I can make it work? I had great expectations on a Samsung product. Now all gone!! I feel I never recommending Samsung to othersin future. What a shame, Samsung?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my Gear S3 Frontier now for a few months now and I am impressed with the build quality and functionality of this smart watch. It is a high quality build and feels very robust on your wrist, if not slightly on the heavy side, but I do like heavy watches. It also looks absoultely gorgeous and the ability to customise the watchfaces helps to keep it looking fresh. The software is easy enough to get use to and there are a reasonable selection of applications available. Linked with S Health is a great addition and it regularly takes your heart rate and feeds it back to the app. It also gives you nice little prompts when you have been sat down for a little too long. The frontier watch also has some good additional features for the active amongst us, such as GPS, altimeter and barometer. Having owned a couple of smart watches in the past, this is the best by far and I would defiantly recommend it. Samsung have almost got to the perfect watch with this latest iteration.

This device/ gadget is awesome. I use my gear s3 daily for many tasks. The gear s3 has an amazing look with every feature you could use on a daily basis. The swivel bezel has a smooth turn and feel. One this i would like to see is a better cam on the watch like the first gear. There are so many watch faces that the gear s3 will always be a new gadget to the owners with every face swap. The brightness could be brighter but either way its clear and very good to look at. I show off my watch all the time. The sound is very good nobody has realized that i was talking to them via my gear s3. The gear s3 has a very professional feel to it. I have recommended this watch to everyone i talk to and not only because its a great watch and im also a gadget nerd lol, but also because i find it hard to leave my house without it due to how essential the gear s3 has integrated into my daily lifestyle. I think we need way more apps for this awesome beast also known as the GEAR S3 FRONTIER. Thanks for listening

Read a few review myself and if you are thinking of ditching what you have now for this tech DO ITit has met ally expectations after doing g research and so far (8hrs) ppl have noticed it on my wrist and I find myself showing off the bells and whistles. By the end of the conversation, either they like tech or are intimidated... Which I like. It's a nice addition to any watch collection, and has so many features what's not to like

I bought my S3 to help track my activities after noticing that the basic Samsung Health on my Note didn’t register when I work be working on projects not requiring a lot of steps. Now I have a more accurate record of my daily level of activity. I have yet to fully utilize many of the available functions of my S3. I guess that is the problem with having a phone and watch smarter than I am.
