Needless to say I returned it because it was too hard to lift the bowl off the pins and way too hard to put your ingredients in the bowl. Currently looking for same color tilt head

Bought this for my daughter's b-day and she loves it. She uses it A LOT and is so happy with it. I have one from the early 90's, a 350 watt, so I know what she means. We got hers in Empire Red and it is definitely powerful. My only critique is that it's a little noisier than the original ones but it works like a charm so, turn up the music and get creative in the kitchen. By the way, a great price of $299 with an additional $50 certificate was a great incentive!!

I can cook pretty well, but baking wasn't something I was very well versed in. This unit has made it fun to do some experimenting with scones, cookies, desserts etc. to make for my kids. Looking forward to many more batches of "Made with Love" concoctions!

Quality construction and design. It has worked well for brownies and cake mixes. It also performs very well for mixing spices into ground meat for making jerky. I have a 7-Up biscuit recipe that is very moist and this mixer didn't perform well for this. I tried 2 different mixing attachments. It is faster and easier to mix it by hand. Overall it is a great mixer and I would make the purchase again.

That said i open the box it came in and fell in love with this kitchenaid mixer. First was peanut butter cookies! done with ease. Then was pizza dough, fantastic! The sound of this mixer is quiet, less then the sounds of a blender makes. Easy clean up, easy storage.locks in place when in use, it don't bounce when mixing. You buy this mixer and i know you will make space on your counter top just like i did! Don't know how i got along without this stand mixer. Good job kitchenaid!

I have used it for everything including sausage balls which used to require me to mix by hand. The big bowl easily held all of the ingredients and the flat beater paddle mixed it up in minutes. I love that the bowl lifts up and down. It fit easily on my countertop under the cabinets since the head doesn't have to tilt. Cupcakes and cakes have been a breeze. Excellent choice!

I broke my wrist about 15 years ago, the older I get the harder it is to hand mix. Now that I have this awesome stand mixer, I am able to cook again!!! Love this!!!
