I had the classic white mixer that was at least 15 years old. It was great, but in recent years was getting a bit tired and couldn't kneed bread dough or handle a large batch of cookie dough. This new mixer is a huge upgrade! Love the apple green color and the power is magnificent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first Kitchen Aid mixture. I love the many beater attachments. But this Is a Kitchen Aid Professional 5 Plus and the mixture does not lift up, the bowl lowers. The. You have to release the bowl from it's secure position. This is difficult for me, because I have had several hand surgeries. I should have studied before purchasing. But it beats the old mixer I had.

Breads, cakes, mashed potatoes, grinding meats...it just wants more! We use this mixer probably 5-6 times a shift. There is no substitute!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got my KitchenAid mixer a couple weeks ago. Since I started using it.... I absolutely love it. It's way better than any mixer out there. I've made so many cookies in it that I've lost count. Some of the reasons why I love my mixer are because it's not loud, it gives me the opportunity to buy other attachments to make multiple other things, it can make big batches of what ever I choose to make, etc. I will definitely be looking into other Kitchen Aid appliances

The only thing that could have made the mixer package better was for this model to be able to be equipped with a rubber edged spatula/mixing attachment.

I like the wide mouth bowl easier to add ingredients - only down side is trying to find the right size shield to buy for the bowl. no listing on Kitchenaid's web site - I tried live chat - 206 minute wait time!! made a phone call 90 Minute wait time - no thanks. I think I found one on another web site - hopefully it will fit. again - great mixer - lousey support

Due to my arthritis and difficulty using my hands, everything is so easy to mix up now and I don't even mind the clean up as it really is simple to take apart and clean up in a timely manner. I love it! It's the best gift my husband could have purchased me. There's gingerbread in the oven right now!
