[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a Kitchenaid Mixed for 20 years now. My first mixer ended it's life after 19 years when a gear lost a tooth! I think the bread I was kneading was too stiff. Anyway, I recently replaced it with the 5 qt model. I love it. It can handle whatever I try to mix in it, is is versatile, convenient and a work horse. I was surprised that the bowls were of a much lighter stainless steel than my original, though it looks like they will hold up well, and the 6 qt bowl fits on the new mixer. I have used many of the attachments with great success. The ice cream maker is a breeze, the grinder attachment works well. However, and this is the only thing that prevented a 5 star review, the sausage stuffing attachment has made me want to throw the whole thing out of a window. The worm gear in the grinder does not do a good job with ground meat. Other than that this is one of my most used small appliances, if it dies in 20 years, I will replace it again.

Was using my sister in law's for a couple years then she moved. I could not be without the wonderful mixer so I bought my own for Christmas. Made many cookies and cakes since then. This mixer makes quick and easy work of baking. I am lookimg forward to trying some of the other attachments. Pasta making sounds fun. This model is a little large and heavy, but I have no doubt it will last for years to come.

I renovated a new house for her with a new kitchen which means I had to get one of these! It's great when cooking for a large family! My mother is disabled and she finds the mixer to be a life saver! Does the job and is easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the same kitchen aid for 30 years, I upgraded to this one and was amazed at how much power it had and how much larger it was than my previous one. I have a little trouble with it not mixing well with the Indention in the bottom of the bowl. Everything else is great.

This is the fourth kitchen aid mixer I have bought. One was for my grand daughter and one for my niece. I have, of course, been satisfied with mine or I would not have made the same choice for them. If I were to have a complaint, it would definitely be the housing for the attachments. Mine cracked rendering my attachments useless. But, I am infatuated with the convenience, power and stamina of the mixer, otherwise. Just can't make my own ground beef any longer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked in a number of restaurants during college, had plenty of experience with the KitchenAid commercial version and the big Hobart mixers but for some reason never bought one for home until a few weeks ago. Makes everything easier. From cookies and mashed potatoes to shredding chicken. I'm kicking myself for not having purchased sooner.

I have waited for years always wanting one of there mixers. Always had a terrible time mixing cookie batches and things by hand. With this mixer there is no need to do that. When my children were growing up I would have done a lot more things made from scratch. There are even attachments fot so many things. DON'T BE FOOLED. Most sales are for ones that have much smaller motors.. Like I have said looked at them for years, and thought they are cheapening them up making them not as strong. Compare regular prices for the differen strenghts. The 10 speeds come in real handy. The stronger motor allows you to mix cookies and dough without putting a real strain on it at all. I know whats on my list now is attachments. I can't wait to see what all can be done with this. Its been amazing so far. I really lliked the red but the other colors are really pretty but wouldn;t match my kitchen. All my Kitchen Aide pruducts are red with a few black. I passed the Artisan down to my grand-daughter and bought this one when I saw it at my local warehouse club for a great price. So happy I did. I could not be happier.
