I have never given a one star review but I agree with all the other one stars. The black piece at the bottom of the glass crumbles into broken plastic pieces. This is about the 10th or 12th time using it. I was making a smoothie, nothing heavy duty. I will never buy this brand again. . Model No. KSP5WH4.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After many years acostumated to my old blender, I was amazed how easy, fast and what a good job. It's very big but very easy to clean, it's not necessary to disassemble the pieces. The cup with a good plastic quality is also a must. Glass cups are easily broken.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the blade assembly is jacked and is now so noisy my wife doesn't want to use it.and have the same problem that Shane has: From Shane:I bought this for my wife about a year and a half ago. it still is working strongly, but for the last few months has been flinging some kind of crud from the base spinner into the base of the blender container. It leaves it in a perfectly horizontal line, and after every use. I have concern that the blender is dying, and that does not make me happy with the amount of money I have spent. Please contact me Kitchenaid...my wife loves your products, but I will not keep paying the money for it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a nice blender. Larger than I thought. May have been dimensions on the order page, I didn't pay attention to it but I didn't think it would be as big as it is. Maybe someone else would like it's size. Worth it though.

Then I bought this kitchenaid blender recently and it has been a wonderful new addition to our home. I love the features including the sealed compartment, quietness. ease of washing, and the measuring cap on the lid! I keep it on the counter for quick access and clean-up is fast and easy!! I use it for smoothies, shakes, margaritas and whenever I need to purée. It has been a dream! Thank you for making my life easier!!

I recieved this blender as a gift. it sat in the box for a couple weeks untill I had a use for it. I quickly found out the coupler was missing. with no purchas record because it being a gift I ordered a new coupler. I used the blender a few more times untill it wouldn't even blend soup. knowing I could get parts quite easily from partsdirect.com I took the blender apart to find the motor had sheared free from the housing. I priced out a new case to find it costs almost as much as a new blender. the kitchen aid brand has taken a hit in my book

I liked this product initially. But after only 7 uses it stopped working. All the lights came on and flashed and it would not work again - no matter what I did to it. I consulted the user manual but unfortunately the suggestions did not help. I would very much like to get it fixed - but I purchased it from a store in Bermuda, and now I have no way of getting it serviced without it costing me more than the unit costs initially.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were looking for a unit more quiet than our Ninja blender and ordered the 5 speed classic blender. Very happy with it as I don't need to wear earplugs as I dd with the Ninja. We make smoothies each morning and this fits the bill.
