[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually received this as a replacement on a digital toaster that kept shorting out. I didn't know if I was going to like this one because I couldn't tell when the toast was going to be done, but it works fine. With the old toaster when I set the controls to the #2, my toast would get darker on one side and lighter on the other side. I put the new toaster on number 2 and it made it a little too dark for me. So the next time I made toast I put it on number one and it makes toast to the perfectly.

The steel finish wipes clean easily and looks very sleek, and the 4 slots are perfect for when guests come over. The bagel feature is also a nice touch.

Whoever thought adding an ear piercing beep to the toaster when it pops up should be hit with a stale baguette. Just what you want to do early in the morning is wake up the whole house when your toast is done. At least have an option to toggle on/off.

Was not offered in store. Love the style, color combination and the 4 slice option. Love that I have 2 different settings and that there is a signal that sounds when toast cycle is complete. It toasts evenly on both sides. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has a very sleek design. Simple yet all the the options you actually use. The bagel option works great. The lift definitely prevents you from sticking your fingers in a hot toaster. Evenly toasts. The darker options are pretty dark and will not be used in my house. Will likely only use the first 2-3 out of 5 options. Setting are consistent on both sides.

The first time I used the toaster, I tested all four slots at once. One slice came out burned on one side and perfect on the other side. One slice came out less than the medium I chose. The other two slices came out way darker than the medium setting. I also found that the darkness selector would change too easily with movement of the toaster, ie, moving it to the storage location. Overall, it works way better the Cuisinart one I replaced.

Overall this toaster is very stylish and functions well, however, I feel the burning element is a bit uneven... Nothing major, just that it toasts one part of the bread more than the other, but again nothing major. still a great toaster, and very stylish. Definitely would recommend to family and friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really do prefer a toaster with a door in the front, but my husband bought this one. It is a really good toaster. I do miss toasting things with butter already on them, but I am very happy with this little toaster!!

Let me start of that I'm A huge kitchen aid fan. I love their quality in their products. An I'm not going to lie. Before this toaster I had a Cuisinart one. We updated our house and our kitchen and their for our appliances. It arrived packaged well but when I went to go toast one of the sides does not get red so at only have have toasted bread on one of the sides. I go to take take a deeper look at it and notice the coiles are damaged. I have searched nd noticed that this is the only 4 slice toaster kitchen aid sells. So sadly it has to go back and I probably have to go back to my original one.
