Great at toasting plain old bread, bagels, English muffins and artisan breads. Not only does the toast pop up you can lift it a bit higher to grab it and when ready the toaster beeps Should have ditched the old toaster sooner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] THIS TOASTER TOASTS AN ENGLISH MUFFIN TO PERFECTION ON 4. WITH MY OLD TOASTER I WOULD HAVE TO DO IT ONCE ON THE HIGHEST AND THEN AGAIN ON 3. I LOVE KITCHEN AID PRODUCTS AND WILL EVENTUALLY HAVE ALL KITCHEN AID APPLIANCES IN MY HOME.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed to replace our toaster as our current one was on it's last leg and would either brown too light or way too dark. Toast was always cold or as hard as a rock. Kitchen Aid has always been a stand out brand as far as quality and ease of use to me. I also own a stand up mixer and always enjoy using that so I was thrilled to find a toaster from the same brand and due to it's quality I wasn't hesitant to purchase this toaster. We really enjoy this toaster now and love that we can make 4 pieces of bread all in one shot. The quality of the toast is over the top with the ability to dial up or down for desired color. I can even walk away to make the coffee and be assured my bread will pop up when finished and I can hear the beep to know it's indeed ready from the next room.

It is easy to clean and still looks good but I have repeatedly reduced the temperature setting and toast still burns. This morning the thing was set on 2! There is only one setting lower.... Haven't tried it for bagels yet but I am worried about doing so.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had for a few weeks. It browns very nicely and evenly. Works great. Have it 4 because i wish out were a little faster, but maybe that's just not possible! I really like the little ding it makes to let me know the toast has popped.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really do like this toaster and its features, and I especially love how it looks on the counter. The drawback is that it doesn't toast both sides of the toast equally when toasting only one slice - one side is always lighter than the other, regardless of which slot is used, and the slots do not indicate whether a single slice should go in one slot or the other. I like a double toaster since my husband likes his toast lighter than I like; just wish I could find one that toasts both sides the same.

Put the toast in when you start your eggs and it's all ready at the same time! Want your toast or bagel sooner than the timer, hit cancer, up it pops!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this toaster after our old 4 slice Black and Decker toaster would barely toast and took forever to toast. This Kitchen Aid toaster makes toast the way I like it just on setting 2, while on our old one we had it on 4 to get it done right. Works great, looks great, and it even dings just before the toast pops up!

It looks like quality construction but it is very large on my counter top. I wish I would have gotten the 2 slice model. I have the setting on 2 or it burns the toast , regular sliced bread, especially on one side. Depends on which slot you put it in. I’m a little disappointed, my wife loves the color.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the look of this toaster. I'm still learning the temp settings. Seems like I cook everything on a 2. No need for setting 4 or 5. It does take a little longer to toast compared to my last toaster which was a cuisine art.
