There are a lot of less expensive cheaply made toasters out there but they do not offer the same features nor do they toast as evenly from my experiences. Overall this toaster is very stylish and functions well, however, I feel the burning element is a bit uneven... Nothing major, just that it toasts one part of the bread more than the other, but again nothing major. still a great toaster, and very stylish. Definitely would recommend to family and friends.
