It looks like quality construction but it is very large on my counter top. I wish I would have gotten the 2 slice model. I have the setting on 2 or it burns the toast , regular sliced bread, especially on one side. Depends on which slot you put it in. I’m a little disappointed, my wife loves the color.

I purchased a new toaster because the same one that i have had for several years was just toasting on one side. Only to have the new one do the same exact thing. Really expected more from kitchen aid. . Paying this much for a toaster that only toasts on one side is insane.

Let me start of that I'm A huge kitchen aid fan. I love their quality in their products. An I'm not going to lie. Before this toaster I had a Cuisinart one. We updated our house and our kitchen and their for our appliances. It arrived packaged well but when I went to go toast one of the sides does not get red so at only have have toasted bread on one of the sides. I go to take take a deeper look at it and notice the coiles are damaged. I have searched nd noticed that this is the only 4 slice toaster kitchen aid sells. So sadly it has to go back and I probably have to go back to my original one.

This toaster clearly is an improvement over our old one. It holds a thicker piece of bread and is deeper so that even the top of the bread is toasted. Because I make most of our bread, height is a consideration. The bread is nicely toasted and not dried out in the center. The toaster does have a larger footprint but is well worth the small amount of extra counter space. Purchasing it from Sam's makes it an even better value. We're most pleased with this purchase.

The order came quickly (3 days from ordering). It was exactly as described and functions like a dream. I got the red one to match other items in my kitchen. I love the large slots, bagels, Texas toast and English muffins perfect with no issue. I do love the bagel button on the front. And there are so many degrees of how light or dark you want the item toasted to. I love Kitchen Aide products, I have several others and this toaster is the perfect addition to my kitchen counter. You won’t go wrong with it.

I researched toasters prior to buying the KitchenAid. It received a high rating. So far it has lived up to expectations. It provides even toasting whether on regular or bagel setting. The openings are both wide and long enough for most bread types. The best feature is the alarm that sounds just prior to completion.

I was looking for a nice but simple 4 slice toaster that didn't cost an arm and a leg, and this checked all the boxes! I didn't want all the bells and whistles, just wanted to have the ability to make toast and bagels. It's a little bigger than I anticipated, but it works great and I'm so glad I found it! I'm very pleased with this purchase!

We love how much capacity it has as well as how it has individual toasting features. I have never had a Kitchenaid appliance that wasn't worth spending the money. They always stand the test of time.

I use a light whole wheat bread (Sara Lee) and the toaster burns it a little on setting 2, a little undone at setting 1. I wish the settings worked better for less dense bread.

It took a couple of times toasting bread to get the setting just right, but after that... Perfect toast, every time. And bagels, too! Frozen waffles? Just right! I recommend this toaster.
