[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does what it was designed to do: turn bread into toast. I love being able to toast at two seperate settings for people who enjoy different levels of toastiness. This is a major upgrade from my previous toaster, which never toasted as intended.

It is quite a bit larger than the sleek Kitchen Aid we had previously but we wanted the 4 slice size. The wide slots & extra lift up are good features. The beep when the toast is done isn't necessary for us but we'll get use to the tone.

It rings a bell to let you know when the toast is finished. There is a feature that lets you secure unneeded electrical cord discreetly underneath. The bagel feature toasts the inside while leaving the outside soft.

I make pop-tarts every morning and the temp knob seems to be a suggestion at lower ranges, but mostly doesn’t over cook them. Brown sugar cinnamon doesn’t taste as good when burned. I’m a big kid,a den refuse to grow up when away from the office. Wife likes the style and function so far.

I'm glad I selected only 2.5 for my trial run because my toast came out dark, dark brown. I'm not brave enough to try the 5 setting! Most of my toasted items are perfect at the 2 setting. I don't think I'll ever need the 3, 4, or 5...

Well-busily out of durable materials, with smooth-operating controls, and intelligently thought out design, we are highly impressed with this product! The toaster functions flawlessly, fits any size bread, and toasts event, and quickly. Will be buying as gifts this Christmas for those I know who are not fortunate enough to have experienced the excellence of Kitchenaid products yet!
