[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We do not like this toaster as well as its predecessor. Does not seem to be as well built. The manual high lift lever is a bit flimsy. Also, the electronic readout controlling the toasting time has been eliminated.

I bought this toaster and the lowest setting burns my toast.We try to remember popping the toaster early but we get busy and forget alot. I don't want to have to purchase a different toaster but I might have to do that. Did I find a lemon? I owned a different kitchen aid toaster before this and never had an issue with it until it stopped working after 10 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first thought was that this toaster looks like some we have seen at a bed & breakfast. It is quite a bit larger than the sleek Kitchen Aid we had previously but we wanted the 4 slice size. The wide slots & extra lift up are good features. The beep when the toast is done isn't necessary for us but we'll get use to the tone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the temperature it produces take a longer time to toast than our old toaster. The springs that pop up the toast when done does not come all the way to the top. We have to use tongs to remove small items like muffins or whole wheat bread.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a 2 slice toaster with this KitchenAid 4 slice. Likedt he look of this one best compared to other top brands. The only "issues" so far are that the levers need to be pushed down firmly to engage and stay down. No "click" into place. The spring that pushes the toast/bagel up doesn't push up firmly and you need to push the lever up manually to retrieve smaller items. It's like the weight of the item keeps it down a little. Best to use tongs, also, since they're hot. The rear crumb trays has a good edge to collect crumbs with no mess. All in all we are happy with it.

Well-busily out of durable materials, with smooth-operating controls, and intelligently thought out design, we are highly impressed with this product! The toaster functions flawlessly, fits any size bread, and toasts event, and quickly. Will be buying as gifts this Christmas for those I know who are not fortunate enough to have experienced the excellence of Kitchenaid products yet!
