Toasts evenly and I like the bagel option. To get the 5th star, they need to increase the lift spring tension so the toast stays all the way up when done.

The “shade” numbers are misleading the lowest setting still toasts the toast a lot (more than I typically like). I would hate to see what setting two through 5 are. Probably ash. If you or your kids like lightly toasted bread look elsewhere

Can't get a better toaster at a better price than Sam's. The last one we had actually melt down when our house was on fire. We had to get the same toaster!

Great toaster. Centers narrow bread slices for even toasting while being able to evenly toast wide slices and bagels as well. Looks great on the counter too, matching the other counter top appliances nicely.

Works fine as long as you check the browness level every use or you get burned toast. The dial moves easily and there’s no marking on it just an indentation for where to set it on the numbers

I had Kitchen Aid long toaster for years and you never knew how your toast would come out. I decided to buy the smaller toaster and does the same thing. Would not recommend.

Both sides cook different on the same setting. The setting handles are not the same either. They're spring loaded and one pushes down easy the other hard. I'm returning.

We were looking for a 4 slice toaster with simple controls and this toaster meets everything we were looking for. We have had no issues with the toaster and are quite happy with our purchase.

Nice retro design and practical functions, I needed it fro my bagels and love the red accent color with the stainless steal body. Easy to use and hopefully cleaning as well :-)
