My dog chews these and they leave little pieces all over they splinter sound hollow don't even act like rawhides. I have bought many for my dog and these are not what they seen to be.

Rawhides are very expensive in my opinion. Especially this size. I have 100 lb Long Hair German Shepherd who would never chew on one and when my aunt bought these over for her black lab, my Shepherd has been chewing on them every since. He loves them. I babysit a 5lb Shih-Poo and she even loves them. They are actually longer than she is :-) I've already referred these to several people and they have told me that their dogs also love them. The price is amazing. I actually became a member of Sam's just to get these rawhides.

I’ve been buying these raw hides for over six years. Both of our dogs love them. They make no more of a mess than any other chew item for dogs. They have hardly any odor and sometimes small pieces break but the dogs just eat them. They are a great way to keep the dogs from chewing on random items or furniture. I’ve compared pricing to other rawhides and these are by far the best quality and pricing. Plus, my dogs have NEVER been sick versus other brands I’ve tried.

Even for a big dog, dedicated to destroying all dog Chew's, these Premium All Natural Beef Hide Chew's hold up very well and last quite awhile. They are a good investment at almost $14.00 for 15 Chew's when you consider how long they last! When our big dog isn't looking our small dog sneaks in and grabs the chew and hides in a spot only HE can get into and enjoys the treasure until it's gone! Not to be left out, our older dog picks up the little already softened piece's left beside by the big dog in his rambunctious tearing up of the chew!

We gave one of these to our medium size dog & and he ate about half of one and left the rest and walked away. Left a mess of big and little sharp pieces all over the floor. The next day he wouldn't eat anything all day. Later that night he started throwing up little peices with blood on them. DO NOT BUY!! I feel so bad for giving him one of these. Returning them to Sam's club.

My dogs go thru withdrawals when we run out of these rawhides. They are obsessed with these and I have had a hard time replacing them with another brand when Sam's Club doesn't keep them in stock. I have resorted to buying them in bulk when they are available because the availability is unpredictable.

My German Shepherd normally tears up any kind of chew treat he’s given. He didn’t care for these though. It’s such a large bag that it took several months for him to slowly go through them. He’s had similar ones before that he loved but he didn’t like these. Won’t be buying again.

Do not use this product it is very dangerous. Causes serious foaming of the mouth and a terrible stench throughout the house. It appears to have a caustic chemical in it that doesn't react well with our dog. The foul odor is very penetrating - makes you want to leave the house. I took the Chew away and sealed it in a plastic freezer bag to get tested. After removing the Chew it took some time for the dog to stop foaming in the mouth. Don't take any chances with this product.

Since I purchased a Sam's club membership a year ago, I have been buying these chews for my dog. He just loves them so much! He is a 72 pound English Setter/ German Shorthair pointer and these seem to keep him busy for awhile. They are great quality at a great price. I would recommend these to anyone.

I have a 7 year old golden retriever who grew up having the previous brand of Sam's rawhides. We switched to these when Sam's switched the brand they carried. These treats resulted in my dog having bloat (gastric dilatation and volvulus) and after recognizing the signs rushed him to the emergency vet in the middle of the night. He had emergency surgery and thankfully made it through. The vet saved the pieces that had gotten stuck in his stomach so I could see them (all were very very small pieces but collectively obstructed his organs). These $15 treats are NOT worth the risk of losing your pet and are NOT worth the price of a trip to the emergency vet.
