I have only had this Viking set for a short time and haven't been able to use many of the items in this particular set. What I have use, I'm pleased with so far and hope that I can say that about the remaining items when the time comes to make use of them all.

After totally reviewing this cookware, both good and bad, I made the decision to take a chance and purchase it. My philosophy was I would either love it or hate it. If I was completely unhappy I would simply return it for a refund. I ordered a couple weeks before Thanksgiving which would give me the perfect opportunity to try it out. I had always cooked on hard anodized nonstick so this would be a new learning experience. I carefully read every tip from reviews plus googled as well. I was fully aware that the copper would patina and would require more upkeep. I purchased Wright’s copper polish along with Barkeeper’s Friend so I would have everything I needed to keep the pots and pans clean and beautiful. I truly don’t understand why so many complain about the pans sticking. IF you put your oil or butter in the cold pan, turn on the heat to low to no more than medium, wait until it starts to shimmer, swirl it around the pan at that point then put in your meat which has been sitting out for about 15 minutes your pan will be virtually nonstick!! What brown bits that are in the pan when you’re through will come right off with a few sprays of Dawn Powerwash or Barkeeper’s Friend. Yes, the copper will turn slightly darker and have dark marks after you cook. Wright’s copper cleaner will bring it right back to the original shine. The cookware is very well balanced, heavy and very well made. I love this beautiful cookware!! I would definitely recommend it!

I bought these pans a month ago and they look awesome and thats about it. These pans would be better wall ornaments. I made scrambled eggs in the small pan and it took me 15 minutes to clean. I've spraid them before cooking and cleaning them are terrible. The discolor of the copper after 4 or 5 uses looks like we have had them for 5 years.

Came in broken box, looked ok but 1st time I used, pock marks appeared on inside bottom of pan. I've NEVER used steel wool for clean up per directions. Pans never come completely clean. Used larger pan once for noodles and a ton of spot marks remain in bottom of pan, no matter how much I clean them. I knew I'd have to specially clean the copper but its the inside of pans that don't clean up!! Super unhappy with pans, looking to send back

This set of pots and pans are better than I expected. The stainless cleans up nicely with a metal scrubber and they are made of high quality materials. They have real copper and the copper will show patina so if you expect them to look perfect forever, buy the steel ones.

I purchased these and was beyond excited when I opened the package and unwrapped these. They are GORGEOUS! They have a good amount of weight to them, and are great quality. I would love to keep these but, sadly, they were not compatible with our new induction cooktop. My fault, I should have looked first. If you have a non-induction cooktop, I am sure you would be pleased with these.

I bought this set and I'm so disappointed with the 2 frying pans, everything sticks to it. The rest of the set is okay, I went back to using my old beat up set, they worked so much better. I'm going to try to send them back and get my money back. I'm very disappointed.

Received my set yesterday and upon first opening the box I was extremely surprised with how beautiful this set us. I'm looking forward for the copper to have a patina look to it. Then I got to cook with it, the cookware is amazing, much better than an All Clad set that I had. I cannot emphasize what a great purchase this was, well worth every single cent that I spent, and still a heck of a lot less expensive than the All Clad set that I had. All Clad set has now become the camping set.

I purchased this cookware set four years, and have used it almost every single day since. Even so, with proper care, it is still beautiful. Most importantly, it is highly functional in the cooking process, out performing even more expensive lines of cookware.

I purchased this set a couple week's ago. I tried out the frying pan first by frying up from onions on medium.. And the pan went from the pretty copper to RED. I thought that was really strange...so now I have one red ugly pan with splotches on it. I tried the big pot and it didn't change colors... So I guess my pan was just made wrong. Very disappointed..
