Excellent quality!

These pans are not only beautiful, but are excellent quality. They cook evenly and clean up beautifully. I love the measuring lines inside the pans and especially love the pasta strainer. The pot handles stay touchable when the put is hot, but the lid handles get hot. Overall, this set was an excellent value for the quality!

Copper cookware

Yes it tarnishes, it’s copper, that’s what copper does. I simply love the heat distribution that copper offers as no other metal I’ve cooked with compares. If you’re looking for a set that is durable and gets the job done this is it. I’d you want a set that’s going to stay looking like a new penny without some work, then you need to look elsewhere.

Absolutely fantastic cookware!

This is the best cookware I've ever owned, it's beautiful, durable, and food tastes much better compared to your normal nonstick pans. You can not go wrong with this set. Truly Amazing!

Best pots and pans ever!

Best pots and pans ever. ! Designed by women! I do not mind cleaning the copper. Just do NOT overheat the pots/pans. Cooks food in 1/2 time. Perfect!

Perfect for gas range!

Needed new cookware moving from electric to gas range. This set heats very fast and is the only triply set with glass tops. Easy to clean and stainless cook surface is safest for health!

It’s a very beautiful set of pots and pans!

I bought this set a few weeks ago. I have always wanted a copper set and this price was within my budget. Be aware if you use a gas propane stove, your pans may permanently discolor. I have one large skillet that is almost silver. I still love them and they look so amazing in my kitchen!

Funky finish, but good pans

They are supposed to have a copper layer on the exterior, but it appears it is some kind of finish... After the first use they even started to show discoloration while on the stove, just from the heat. Now they are all silver, yellow, copper-ish, and bright pink. The pans cook really well and feel nice and heavy/sturdy. The finish/copper layer is very disappointing if you are looking for copper.

Finish comes off

The first time we used these, the finish started coming off the pan. We didn’t use high heat. It looks “melted” in spots and changed colors. There are drip-shaped marks in the finish- Those are not water spots. Some areas of the pan went silver, like the finish disappeared. It’s not a tarnishing issue, so we returned them and bought the same set without the copper finish.

Copper Pits

These pots are so pretty but after cooking in them the first time, they became discolored. I tried as recommendations for washing with little results!! So very disappointed!! I thought the “Viking” name was reputable.

Discolored significantly after first light use

I received these as a gift, and I wish my husband had done more research on their maintenance before purchasing. The very first time I used a pan to make some quick quesadillas for my kids, the whole copper surface of the pan turned a blotchy pinkish-red color. I called the manufacturer and they said that discoloration with use is pretty normal and I could use some vinegar and water to bring back the original color. I don't want to have to polish my pots/pans after every use. I cook three meals a day for five kids, someone in my position does not have time for such delicate cookware, no matter how well they conduct heat.
