Very attractive cookware set and very even cooking. Be careful to go easy on the heat though as they suggest in the manual. The stainless insides can be tough to clean as is normal. The outside is prone to overheating and may change color, but using the Penny Brite copper cleaner sample provided works great to solve any exterior issues. Unfortunately you can't find Penny Brite any more - which was biodegradable too!

This set caught my eye in a sale flyer and after reading reviews and doing some research I decided I couldn’t pass this set up. My almost 10 year old set of non-stick pans had been in need of replacement for quite awhile but I hadn’t found a set that I liked that fit our budget until this set. I was a bit afraid to try stainless, having never cooked with anything other than non-stick and cast iron before but these turned out to be very easy to cook with and clean up easily as well. They have a nice weight and seem to distribute heat evenly. Barkeeper’s Friend cleans the copper right up and I now have them hanging from a pot rack since they are too pretty to hide in a cabinet.

I’ve used only a few time so far and have had no problems. The long handles are helpful on the large gas burners on my stove. No more hot plastic handles letting off noxious fumes. They are beautiful. My only issue is that the handles are riveted on the inside of each pan which creates two places where food can dry so I have to look closely to make sure the pan is clean.

So far I love this set. Easy to care for and they cook evenly. To remove any discoloration on the inside I use barkeepers friend and I always wash by hand and throughly dry. Very beautiful pots and pans that require a bit more tlc than other sets but totally worth it,

Yes it tarnishes, it’s copper, that’s what copper does. I simply love the heat distribution that copper offers as no other metal I’ve cooked with compares. If you’re looking for a set that is durable and gets the job done this is it. I’d you want a set that’s going to stay looking like a new penny without some work, then you need to look elsewhere.

Two must-knows for copper cookware. First, it WILL discolor when used, or even if you just hang it up for looks. Like silver, copper discolors, and polishing restores the bright shine. Secondly, copper is an amazing conductor of heat. You don't need the high heat you used with your steel pans. Turn it down. If I usually saute a dish on medium high, I'm getting the same heat now on medium low! Less fuel used, more energy efficient. Third thing, I guess, is no nonstick coating. I like avoiding the questionable chemicals in nonstick. Sticking isn't an issue if you gently preheat and add your choice of fat. If you're a dedicated low or no fat cook, rethink the purchase. All that said, I love these pans. Superb quality! Equal to All-Clad's copper and stainless, and I've been an All-Clad user for decades. I cook a LOT. Two to three meals every day. I don't have time to fuss with stuff. I need it to work right, clean easily, and be trouble-free. I'm glad I got these. I'd buy them again in a heartbeat. Very impressed.

Phenomenal quality although much heavier then I expected. These will definitely last a lifetime! Learning curve on cooking with them but two weeks in and we're getting better every day!

I’m so happy to have this set of cookware. Viking brand is very well known for their durability, my grandmother had Viking cookware for years, in copper, I now have a set of cookware that will last a lifetime.

Very happy with the quality of this set . I love how they look , but more importantly do a great job cooking food . Clean up is easy if follow the recommended procedure. Hope to have them for a long weekend time .

These pots are so pretty but after cooking in them the first time, they became discolored. I tried as recommendations for washing with little results!! So very disappointed!! I thought the “Viking” name was reputable.
