I treated myself to new pots and pans after 30+ years. My old tri-ply had a viable disc that scorched food around the edges. These do get calcium staining, but boiling vinegar and a bit of bar keepers friend gets rid of that. The fry pans do stick but that's how you get pan sauce fond but a medium heat will release foods you just have to get use to cooking slowly preheating on a lower heat, if you can't do that then stick with disposable non stick cookware. My only complaint is lid handles get hot so I'm looking into buying a length of silicone hosing to split them cover them.

Well I cooked some Chicken Gizzards for our dog in the Spaghetti pot and well I had to scrub a lot to get it clean. Aside from this I love this set for our new home! I even got it on a huge discount from Sams. I really love Sams Club. In our old city Sams was so far away and I am really enjoying this store! These pans were reported to show stains easily however I have not noticed this but I had noticed stains on another pots I had and I would just put bleach and water in them to restore their beauty. I am delighted I was able to buy these at such a price and all others for similar pots are so pricey! These are high quality professional cookware used in restaurants. And knowing this from another reviewer made my purchase super confident!

Purchased this set on sale in club for $150 and is definitely worth it. Read the instructions before using and you will have no problem. The pots and pans have a good weight to them so be prepared for that. They specifically recommend warming the pans prior to first use and spreading oil to prevent things from sticking. This is recommended every couple of months. Also, again right in the instructions they recommend to use Bar Keeper’s Friend to maintain the shine. Trust me you will need this.

I’ve waited 4 months after first using the pans to write this review. Great pans. I made sure to research how to properly cook on them (warm them up before, use a dash of olive oil/butter, don’t need to cook things as hot as you usually do). I have burned a thing or two. When I do I just boil cream of tartar in the pan and then scrub it. It makes the pans shine like new too. Everything that I have cooked in these pans turns out fantastic. Especially pastas with sauces. I used the larger pot to make potato soup and it worked perfectly. Only negative is that the larger frying pan doesn’t have a top. I see people complain that they aren’t as shiny after you use them. I’d like to remind people that these are tools of the kitchen and don’t have to have a glossy shine every time. Just make sure to clean the bottoms of them every time, especially on a ceramic cool top like mine. These pans are fantastic and professional kitchen use stainless steel so you should too!

Great pots and heavy

I was in need of new pots and pans, and was tired of the non-stick pans I had flaking and getting ruined, so I decided to try this set. They are gorgeous to look at and a breeze to cook with! If anything sticks, it comes right off with a bit of scrubbing (although eggs take some getting used to) , and they have gone through the dishwasher with no issues as well. I was worried that there wouldn't be enough different sizes, but all the sizes I use are there, so it works perfectly for our family of 3. All in all, super happy we bought them! Well worth the extra money over the cost of non-stick ones I have purchased in the past.

My boyfriend bought them for me for an early Christmas present. I have the copper pans. Wash them with hot soapy water, use copper cleaner on the ourside and bottom and rinse clean. Cook on medium and low heat all the time. NOTHING swticks if you follow the instructions that is given with the pans.

Planning to return! I am used to non-stick cookware -was looking ideally for the Cooks Essentials brand which apparently is no longer sold

Wish I could say they are great but food - especially bacon & eggs tend to stick easily & they are all spotted for some reason?
