Great Product

Super durable and a lot of power for both starting and powering electronic components

Poor warranty service.

When they worked were good. However they died and wouldn't take a recharge. Contacted the company about the warranty, and discovered they were 5 weeks past the free replacement warranty (18 months) and so they wont cover anything. No prorated replacement or anything. Definitely won't be buying anymore Duracell batteries.

Only time will tell

Seem to be a well built battery, I installed three in my boat. Manufactured by Eastern Penn, so hoping they last as long as my Dekka batteries did. Cannot beat the price anywhere!

Low maintenance option

Bought four of these for my boat--two trolling motor, two house/starting. Easy install. Now I don't have to crawl into my console to check fluid levels. I have only had them tow weeks, but so far so good.

Solar system

Purchase this battery March of 2014 and it's been connected nonstop on a solar system with 200 watts of solar power. The winter time it sits for a couple months on the trickle charge. now on the 6th year it's still provides a decent amount of power for my 300w pure sine wave inverter. I'm going to give it another year or two but I'm going to buy another of the same battery simply because of how the dependable and long lasting this has been. Also note this batteries sits out in the elements for the past 6 years and has showed very little sign of any kind of plastic or UV degrade.

Duracells for motorhome

I bought these batteries for my RV and was pleased with the price. They were recommended by another owner, but It will be quite awhile before I can develop a history and concur. Time and performance will tell. Still, the buying experience was very good.

Did not last

I purchased two of theses batteries. One stopped excepting a charging at 25 months. The other one is still working going on 30 months. Both of my batteries are on a continuous charging system in between fishing trips. I put a lot of research in to this battery. Was hoping for better.

Going On My 3rd Year

I purchased 4 of these to use as a house bank on my boat. While AGM batteries are good for being used as deep cycle batteries, it is still important not to discharge them more than 50%. The greater the discharge, the lower amount of times they can cycled. Prior to this purchase of AGM's I used flooded deep cycle batteries, group 27. I would remove those batteries during the winter to keep them in my garage and put a charger on them once a month. Theses AGM batteries are roughly 80 pounds each; about 15-20 pounds heavier than the deep cycle. AGM's do not self-discharge nearly the amount of flooded wet cell batteries. I now keep the batteries in the boat over winter and saves me a lot of grief. Come spring when I have AC power, I can use the battery charger to top them off. The first year I was surprised how very little charging they needed. Keep in mind that I am charging all 4 at once; they are connected in parallel. My remote charging panel showed 40 amps (I have a 40 amp, 3 stage charger# and within a minute or so dropped to 20 amps #roughly 5 amps per battery#. 10 to 15 minutes later the charging current was down to 10 amps #2.5 amps per battery). So letting the batteries set for 5-6 months over winter took less than 15 minutes to charge. I expect to get at least 7-10 years out of these batteries versus 4-5 years for the flooded deep cycle. Treat these batteries correctly, no more than 50% discharge, good 3 stage charger, and battery temperature sensor, and they should be trouble free for many years. The only gripe I have is the totally lack of information on the voltages for recharging them. I set my charger to the AGM mode. It would be great if the manufacture specified what the voltage should be and specified battery temperatures.
