I have two dogs and one of them is getting up there in age. He moves slowly especially in the morning until he his joints loosen up with activity. So I was excited to see if he could benefit from these hip and joint supplements. He likes the taste and gobbles them up quickly. I have a second, younger dog and he spent a lot of time rolling the supplements around before finally eating it. There was something about the taste or smell he didn't care for but he is not the dog who needs this supplement so no big deal. The supplements have a good dose of glucosamine and krill in them. Both of which I think are beneficial to an older dog's mobility.

I have been buying these for 2 years and they have always worked well for my dog's arthritis and he liked them. However, the last two bags I purchased, the soft chews were not soft at all. He will still eat them, but he does not like them now and has actually spit them out at times due to being so hard. The first time it happened I thought I just got a bad batch, but now that it's happened twice I won't buy again.

My bichon likes the chews. One of her back legs are stiff and she limps around. I just started these 5 days ago so it is too early to tell if it will help her but at least she likes them. She won’t touch pill pockets which most dogs like. I do agree with others that they are not soft like the advertising says. In fact they are very hard. I checked the package to see if they were out dated but they aren’t. Just be aware they are in no way a soft chew.

I have a 9 yr old Boxer and a 4 yr old German Shepard. I noticed the Boxer having some problems jumping into our truck. So, I was shopping for a hip and joint product for few months. In mid Aug 2017, I came across this product and decided to try it. Our boys love it and think it's a treat. They look forward to it every morning along with their other vitamins. Within 2 weeks or so, the Boxer has his puppiness back. He's playing and running in the yard again with the German Shepard. I should have found this years ago. I definitely recommend this product to every dog owner out there. I have a sister-in-law who takes care of animals for living and recommended this product to her.

My female Doberman began to have trouble with her back left leg. She was limping and holding it up. I did research and found this product and saw great reviews on it so I bought a bag. Within one week she was feeling and walking much better. I do have to keep her on the double dose for her to not relapse. She loves the soft chews and comes right over when she hears me opening the bag.

My lab is 10 years old, we call her our old lady. For the last few years we have noticed she was starting to get a little bit stiff in her joints, and recently she has begun to have trouble jumping down off of our bed. We knew we needed to try something to keep her more limber and comfortable, so we tried the VetIQ hip and joint supplement. She typically doesn't like taking anything that she can sense is a medicine, but she seemed to enjoy these as much as she would a treat so we didn't have any trouble giving them to her. We have been giving these to her for about a week now and she seems to be having some success with them. She is still very ginger when she jumps down off of the bed, but she does seem to be moving around better overall. I started giving my dogs this supplement as a treat after I found out last year that one of my male Chihuahuas has developed a bit of athritis, and I also have been giving my other three Chihuahuas one each day as well as a treat and they can't wait to get them each day....as soon as I go for the bag...WOW....they're right there!!!

The bag is labeled “soft chews” and the description says “They’re soft, chewy and infused with a rich chicken flavor that most canines love.” These are hard as rocks and my dog will not eat them. I tried crushing them and mixing with his food, but it’s not easy to do because they’re so hard, and my dog will leave bits of the chews in his bowl if he can avoid them.

The vet diagnosed our dog with hip problems as a puppy. I've been worried about hip and joint health ever since. I love that these chews come in such a large package size. That makes it so much easier to remember to give them daily (I don't worry about running out, and therefore getting out of habit.) My dog absolutely LOVES them and she gobbles them right up.
