Our dog is diabetic and he gets one each time he finishes his food, right after his insulin shot and he thinks he is getting a great reward for doing so well! He has always loved them as did our Pittie we lost two years ago! Much more cost efficient than other brands. We hope Sam's continues to provide them!

I've been giving my dog 2 soft chews per day for nearly two years. I believe they're working because his hips have gotten much worse. However, VetIQ should fix the package since the press and seal opening detaches after 10-15 openings. This has been the case for the whole time.

The bag is labeled “soft chews” and the description says “They’re soft, chewy and infused with a rich chicken flavor that most canines love.” These are hard as rocks and my dog will not eat them. I tried crushing them and mixing with his food, but it’s not easy to do because they’re so hard, and my dog will leave bits of the chews in his bowl if he can avoid them.

I started my dog on this and about a week later, we noticed he was shivering or having mild tremors. We didn't think that it could be that until about a month later when we realized they started at the same time. We stopped using this and his shivers went away.
