My dog loves these supplements. My dog is getting older and showing some signs of soreness in her hips (especially after she's been laying down for a while). After a week of being on these chews, we can tell that she is visibly more relaxed in her hips and has less soreness. I would recommend these chews to anyone with an aging dog to help relieve them from hip and joint pains and aches.

Recently our Pit tore her ACL and had to have surgery. We decided to give her Vetiq Hip and Joint Suppliments in hopes it would help aid in her healing. We (and the dogs) love that they are chews, and the dogs enjoy taking them. We noticed first that our older Lab seemed to be moving much better when getting up and down. But when we took our Pit to the vet for a re-check and they couldn't believe how well she was moving around, we knew it had to be the chews. We have continued with them and look forward to our dogs remaining comfortable.

Why the title states "soft dog chews" is beyond me. They are very hard and almost impossible to break into pieces. Worse, VetIQ support is abysmal and uncaring. They make you go through hoops, multiple times, to try to resolve their inferior product that is now owned by "Sargeant", which speaks volumes as to the poor product quality. We returned all VetIQ purchases.

We used cosequin on my 7 year old lab for 3 years and still she limped. We bought Vet IQ hip and joint and used it for 2 weeks, the limping stopped. We continue to use it to keep Sugar comfortable and happy. I would totally recommend Vet IQ for any joint problem.

After about one week, my dog went from squeaking with pain to running and jumping onto the sofa and bed. Follow the directions and make it a part of your daily routine and you get results that are quick and consistent. A year's supply of these is cheaper than a single visit to the Vet. The most important thing to me is that they really help my dog feel good... no pain... happy and playful. If I forget to give her 2 of the joint treats after our morning walk, she reminds me by sitting at the refrigerator, looking at the bag on top and barking. Based on that it gets 5 stars.

I have been buying these for 2 years and they have always worked well for my dog's arthritis and he liked them. However, the last two bags I purchased, the soft chews were not soft at all. He will still eat them, but he does not like them now and has actually spit them out at times due to being so hard. The first time it happened I thought I just got a bad batch, but now that it's happened twice I won't buy again.

My bichon likes the chews. One of her back legs are stiff and she limps around. I just started these 5 days ago so it is too early to tell if it will help her but at least she likes them. She won’t touch pill pockets which most dogs like. I do agree with others that they are not soft like the advertising says. In fact they are very hard. I checked the package to see if they were out dated but they aren’t. Just be aware they are in no way a soft chew.

I have 2 larger breed dogs that take these without any problem at all. However, my smaller dog (dachshund) has a fair bit of difficulty eating these. Each time she eats them I am worried that she will choke on them. They are very difficult for her to bite into small pieces. These are harder chews as well so it only works for dogs who are able to bite into harder treats and food.

My female Doberman began to have trouble with her back left leg. She was limping and holding it up. I did research and found this product and saw great reviews on it so I bought a bag. Within one week she was feeling and walking much better. I do have to keep her on the double dose for her to not relapse. She loves the soft chews and comes right over when she hears me opening the bag.

I have been using the Hip and Joint for years with our now 9 1/2 year old lab and has worked wonders with her. We have never had a problem with her taking them, she thought they were treats. However the last 2 bags (180 count) we have purchased have been hard as rocks and she will no longer readily take them. What changed? Why change? Sadly, we may need to find a new product for her. FIX IT OR WE ARE SWITCHING!
