Tried these hip & joint chews, hoping it would help my big buddy. It took about a month before I noticed a small improvement in his mobility. After three months he was running in the yard again. Everyone could have mixed results but, it has helped my buddy and he loves them like a treat.

My two very active blue heelers seemed to take turns developing a limp or favoring one leg over another in their excited quest, doing their jobs chasing tennis balls. Now on their third bag of getting Vetiq Hip and Joint supplements, neither have had the problems of before. My older dog, Gabe, seemed to be slowing down but he has noticably has become faster competing with Georgie Girl in their jobs of corralling said tennis balls. My dog does not seem to like the taste or smell of these as it takes a while for her to want to eat them. She has been on them for a few weeks and only noticing a slight difference in her walking. Will wait and see if a longer period makes any difference.

My mixed breed dog is large, 95 lbs, not overweight though. He is 7.5 years old, and started having issues with his hips moving. I had received a coupon for this product so I thought I would give it a try, and before finishing the first smaller package that I bought his mobility was much better, and is able to run with ease! Since he is so big it is recommended he take 4 a day, so I ordered this bigger bag from Walmart, more economical! I am very pleased with this product, my dog is doing much better! I also have a small Jack Russell that is 10 years old, he’s not having any issues, but if needed or as a prevention at his age, they recommend he have just one every other day for his weight. The dosage is different for your dogs size/weight. My husband recommended this to a family member whose dog is having issues, hopefully it will help him too!

This product has worked so well for my dog who is not quite ready for Cosiquin, but is getting older and has some joint issues with her back leg. This keeps her limber and comfortable. I notice if she misses a dose for a couple of days she starts to limp. Keeping her on this helps tremendously, and the 180 count means we are set for awhile!

Our dog will be 14 years old in March. She has been taking these joint vitamins for 2 years. They help her to move better. She has more spunk than she did without them. Our store quit carrying them, so, now, I have to order online now. We recieve our order to our home within 2 days. We are thankful for that.

My vet says you would get more meaningful benefit by using separate, correctly dosed fish oil, optionally combined with glucosamine/MSM if desired. He also says this product has minimal benefit for the following reasons: 👉 This product delivers ~2–4% of a therapeutic omega-3 dose. Clinically minimal. 👉 MSM too low to matter. 👉 hyaluronic acid Negligible impact 👉 Antioxidants / extras (vitamin E, grape seed, manganese) • Supportive, but not joint-modifying at these doses.

I have two dogs aged 9 and 11, neither have hip or joint problems so I am just trying to stay ahead of the game. If your dog needs this and you are wondering if it will eat them the answer is most likely yes. Both my dogs love them and think they are getting a wonderful treet. That always helps!
