Our ten year old medium sized (50-60 lb) dog seemed to be getting up slow, like she was stiff or sore. It had been going on for months, maybe as much as a year. We figured it was just her age, as she's had a couple operations when she was younger. We noticed this when it was on sale and tried a bag, even though Sam's club's checkout system didn't give us the bonus discount advertised for listening to a sales pitch at their pharmacy - won't make that mistake again. We've given her only one of these a day (half the recommended dose), for more than half a year now, and to our surprise, haven't seen her limp or slow to get going even once since she started taking them. They definitely seem to be doing something. We'll see if we need to up the dosage once really cold weather sets in.

Read the ingredients to many joint supplements for dogs, and it looks like nothing more than dog food. VetIQ has the same ingredients you'd find in what your vet would prescibe, but at like a 3rd the cost. Magnesium, and Fish oil of diffrent kinds. Put together with a Maro treat and some gelatin, and their joints will be feeling better in no time. This is all stuff they should be getting on their natural diet, but no dog food company is concerned with that. The more exspensive ones, even worse than the cheap dog foods. Dogs aren't humans, they need the part of the animals we often throw away. I highly recomemd this product.

There is nothing I don't like about HIP IQ Hip and Joint Supplement for Dogs. What I do like... Convenience, ingredients for hip and joints plus a pain reliever. I don't need a prescription for it. My vet approves the use of it for my senior dog. There are different size bags. I get the larger bag to save money. Finally, more than one flavor and my dog loves them all.

My dog needs hip and joint pills that work, taste good, and don't upset her stomach. These supplements do the job on all three counts. She loves them, they keep her limber and going, and she doesn't vomit them up nor do they cause her diarrhea. We've used these for years for our dog. Can't be the results.

These aren't as soft and chewy as you would think. I actually have to cut these up with scissors for Brogan. He is getting old and his teeth are getting ground down. He likes the taste and these help to keep him active so he can take his walks up and down our long driveway. Brogan has always had terribly bowed legs so anything to help keep him active and moving is a big help. He's 1/2 beagle and 1/2 pointer and is turning all white in his old age. He's a sweet old man and I hope these chews help keep him moving with no pain.

I've used this brand for a few years now . My pit dog has arthritis %26 these really seem to help my dog %26 I give it to my dogs now ,to help with their health . My dogs love the soft like nugget, bite size %26 the taste . Both my dogs have energy %26 nice muscle tones .

These are advertised as "soft chews" on my 6th bag and not one has been soft! Expiration dates have all been good, but the chews themselves have all been hard and stale like. I had to put them in peanutbutter for our dogs to eat them. I'm not able to get around myself too easily so we made the best with what we had! We'll be looking for a REAL SOFT CHEW somewhere!

We have been giving these to our dog for several years now. She’s now almost 13 years old and has been limping, so I don’t know if they actually help or if she would be worse if she didn’t take them. One thing I will point out - the size of these chews is significantly smaller than they used to be. The package still contains 180, but the individual chews are smaller by what I would estimate as about 1/3. Very noticeable difference.

A lot of treats but a lower price than the tablets. My dogs prefer them over the tablets so they must taste better. They feel hard to the touch, but my senior dogs can eat them just fine. I only have one picky dog that won't eat them. Great price for the amount of treats per bag.

I ended up throwing most of these out. The description made it appear that they there were soft and chewy, and they certainly weren’t. I kept the package sealed and they were still really hard. They were not appetizing to my dog. Reminds me of the old heartworm medicine they used to have. I went back to the tablets.
