My boyfriend and I have been getting Dukes sausage sticks for a while because we loved the flavor and the pepper varieties but I bought a bag a few days ago and we started eating some today while watching tv and after a few bites we noticed there was mold ALL OVER the sausages I had bought 2 days ago and just opened right now to eat. Horrified. It was not supposed to be expired. Ew and oof is all I have to say

Just clarifying again that my local super market only carries this flavor, the Hatch Chile, and the Hot and Spicy flavors. So those are the only three I've tried. The original is great and full of flavor. I body build and having low carb, high protein snacks when I'm cutting is what I need and Duke's is my go-to snack. So far, this is my least favorite flavor, but that doesn't mean it's bad. Not at all. It's better than many other brands I've tried, and I've tried quite a lot over the years.

I previously have bought spicy flavors of Duke’s and they were great. I appreciate no added nitrates especially. From opening the bag I got extreme “canned dog food” vibes. As for the taste, I haven’t yet tried to eat dog food, but I’d imagine it’d be along these lines. Very disappointed.

This is my first time trying and it is absolutely tasty! It is a great snack! I’m really enjoying the balance between the different spices! I’m really glad that this isn’t too heavily seasoned or salty as I’m used to eating light foods! I do wish they’d pack a little more in each pack though, because I’m sitting here 1am chomping on my new favorite snack while getting through all my assignments!

I've been buying Duke's sausages for years. I think you're missing a big market. Because of your premium ingedeints and lack of preservatives I have been sharing them with my chihuahua, Pedro. He loves them as did my prior dog, Tyco. Start selling them in pet stores "for man or beast". They're cheaper and better than most dog treats.

I've been buying Dukes ever since I tried my 1st one. Was so happy to find them at Sam's where 3 bags costs as much as you'd pay for 1.5 bags at a regular store. They're great for a quick, filling snack on the go or especially when doing outdoor activities like hiking. Beware they do need to be refrigerated after opening lest they get moldy. But that's a good thing because it means they're not filled with preservatives. Love my Dukes sausages!

We usually buy Archer beef sticks but, wanted to try something different. While these don't have a bad taste, they are so greasy in texture that they left a film in my mouth. My household can't finish even the one bag we opened and can't find anyone in my extended family willing to take the two unopened packs. A disappointing waste.

I found this product to be extremely hard, almost like it dried out or something. I tossed the package in the trash. I had bought this product in other stores and found them to be really good. They were not hard but soft and easy to chew. I will not buy these at Sams any more.

Almost feel like a competitor wrote them. Dog food and smells like preservatives? Who goes straight for jerky of they're starving? And why is Jack Link's mentioned so many times on the 1 stars? I've had 5 bags of these in the past 3 months and the only issue I've had is finding them, so I came here to see if I could buy a box.
