I have been trying a lot of jerky and meat stick products lately. I am 62 and just don't have much of an appetite these days but, I can tell when I need to eat a little protein. I get tired of peanut butter. I have tried MANY “clean” meat stick products but just didn't like the flavor or after taste. And my jaws just don't want to have to break down most of the beef jerky's out there. I just tried these Duke's original shorty sausages. FINALLY a tasty protein snack with clean ingredients and no aftertaste! I am so excited to try their other flavors but, I could be satisfied with just their original sausages. Will definitely be purchasing more. Don't believe the negative reviews. I saw one positive review theorizing that the negative reviews were being written by Duke's competitors. I agree 100%! These taste good!

We stumbled upon Duke's Shorty Sausages at a close-out store; a smoked meat snack without nitrates & nitrites! Great taste & texture. Never found them again at that store, and were pleasantly surprised to find these at Sam's Club! Excellent price. Be sure to refrigerate these after opening! (we refrigerate our unopened packages, too)

Love that they are low in sugar so good for my diet needs. They are not tough either like other beef jerky. Hope they stay around for awhile.

This one of the best flavored dried meat products I have eaten. I used to buy Slim Jim products on occasion, but because of the greasy texture I stopped. Now I have found Duke, I can enjoy the dried link meat again.

Love these! When Sam's club, in their infinite wisdom, decided the only way to get these now is via shipping and shipping charges or pay for their more expensive membership. This Einstein move is why this is my last go around as a member. Sam's adios, you are too expensive for the very few things worth getting.

I love this jerky. It tastes amazing, and is easy enough to chew.

Great but expensive you don't get very much for what you pay it's kind of sad

These are REALLY GOOD! Nice snack-sized, very tasty smoked sausages. We like the fact that there's no liquid smoke or nitrites added. Will definately be ordering more of these.

These are good quality sticks. I like that they have no nitrates or nitrites in them. The flavor is very good, the casing isn't tough and they're priced decent. I will buy more when we go back.
