I’ve had some problems getting my video doorbells set up but SimpliSafe has been extremely helpful in troubleshooting and helping me get connected. They sent out a doorbell connector kit because one doorbell was causing a hum while charging. The kit took care of that issue. Yesterday when I was trying to get the second video doorbell connected, we had to go through some troubleshooting again and this time it was determined to be a defective camera unit, so they’re Fed-Ex’ing a replacement just so I can get it installed before leaving on vacation. I’ve been extremely happy with their customer service and support! Very happy I went with them for my video doorbells and security system. The video quality from their camera’s are high quality and the cameras aren’t overly sensitive that I’m constantly getting notices on my phone. Very good equipment and customer service.

Works as advertised. Easy installation. I did need customer service because of my Wi-Fi configuration but found the rep to be terrific. My only complaint is this does not have an SD storage slot so you have to sign-up for the service to view an event.

Once it was working, the video is crisp, the motion sensor works well, played well with the Comcast router, and it integrated seamlessly into the Simplisafe system. The big problem is that it was a real pain to get working with the electronic chime that we have. A standard ding-dong door chime will work well with an adapter that you will need to call Simplisafe customer service for (It's free), but the electronic chime is another story. There are a couple of Instructables that tell you how to add a relay to the system to get it to work with an electronic chime. Once the relay was installed, it works great.

Works great. Now, I can see who is at my door day or night, as well as communicate with them. I was at an appointment when a package was delivered, my video doorbell alerted me to the delivery. The video is of great quality, and works at night as well. It helps me see the area in front of my house and my neighbor's house. I would highly recommend Simplisafe to anyone who wants added protection at a good price.

Anytime a person comes to the door, I am notified. If they ring the bell, I know that too. It has the ability to distinguish between human & animal shapes, so I am not bothered every time a cat walks by. (I know someone with another popular video doorbell system, and it goes off all the time due to animals. The video here is great. I would have given 5 stars, but the audio is so-so. When I have talked to people, we tend to have to repeat ourselves a lot. I am not sure if it comes from talking at the same time or what. A little like talking on a walkie talkie. Still I am thrilled with the product and recommend it to anyone.

I waited for at least a year before deciding on a doorbell cam. This is the right one. I like the different color change plates, the app and overall appearance. The unlimited storage is an extra $4.99/month, but worth it in my opinion. It is a little sensitive, as we have a large American flag on a post in front of it that will set it off when the wind gets up, but isn't a total nuisance. Very happy with this, especially on sale!

We realy like this doorbell camera. The set up was easy and the quality of picture is good. even the monthly service to record all the footage monthly is less than 10 a month . I like that I receive alerts and can check from my phone when out to see if its a person or a large animal such as our fence jumping dog.

Purchased this to go with the SimpliSafe Security system. I tried it out as a stand alone doorbell using the IOS app for the doorbell. Works OK but recording are not save unless you pay for a camera fee or with the Simplisafe monitoring system. With the monitoring system the doorbell is great. It records any motion and stores it for 30 days. Good picture quality. Night vision works fairly well but not as much clarity if greater that 20 feet. Daytime quality is great and you can zoom in using the app

Received about a month ago and wow! Was really simple to install. I didn’t have an existing door bell but was able to connect it to a plug in transformer and it’s working fine. We were on a recent trip and I was able to watch my driveway get repaired. Anyway, just a neat piece of tech.

Replaced same that was 5 years old. Camera quit working.
