I want to like it

Worked great for the first few months, only used the compressor but no issues, was fine. After the first few months it started failing to hold a charge and would show 2/4 bars immediately after removing from charging. Fast forward a couple more months and it literally died today after having been used maybe 10 times total in the last 6-8 months. Shows fully charged when charging, but dies once removed. Even tried to use the compressor while having it hooked to power, no dice. Two other family members have one as well and both has issues with it holding a charge. Buyer beware, you'll love it at first but it won't last long

Wont stop beeping

I purchased this to have for emergencies. My daughters car needed a jump so I decided to try it out. It was fully charged. My daughters car jumped perfectly. the problem is the unit wont leave jump start mode and keeps on beeping. I have tried to switch the red nob on and off many times. The unit stays in jump start mode no matter what.

WARNING...Read reviews before purchasing

I only wish I had read the reviews for this product before I drove a 120 mile round trip to buy one (because my local Sam’s was out of stack). I charged it up all night as instructed, but was still flashing charging the next morning. I then took it outside to put air in my vehicle tires. After screwing the hose to the valve stem, I set the pressure to 35 and started the compressor. It started, but sounded odd, so I stopped it and removed it and put it back on and tried it again and it still made a sound like it was laboring very hard to pump any air at all. It was only about 3 PSI low, so I figured it would take only a few seconds to fill and shut off....5 minutes later, it was still running, so I turned it off. I checked the pressure in the tire and it had not added any air at all. Tried it on a 2nd tire and the same thing happened. This thing is a complete piece of junk. Took it back for a full refund. After seeing the negative reviews, I wish I had read them before I wasted my time on this item. This thing doesn’t even rate a single star.

Stanley Power Max PP1DCS Lacks 12V Utility Outlet

I purchased this not realizing the features list excludes a standard round 12 VDC utility outlet. You can not use this device to operate your 12 VDC portable tools. Not a good all multipurpose device to carry in my vehicle.; E.G. can use my 12VDC Impact tool to remove lug nuts, etc., It's very good for adding air and to boost start a vehicle battery..

Great for battery, but not tires

The battery charger works great and is very easy to use. The air compressor works well but the connection to the tire is difficult to screw on and you lose a lot of air when taking it off. I would have given this a 5 had they offered a different way to connect to my car tires. This is built to use for a bike tire and it doesn't work well on vehicles.

Great with one (not so) minor exception

Brought it home and started the car immediately. I appreciate the capacity and size of the built in battery. It should be noted (and this is kind of a big negative for me) that the inflator is not a screw on Schrader valve attachment, as shown in the product photo. It's a lever locking chuck. Not a deal breaker but I really prefer the screw-on version. Not sure I would have bought it if I had known.

Junk!!!

First one lasted less than 90 days. Compressor went out. Returned to store. Bought another. About a year old, used maybe 3 times, wont hold a charge and shuts off by itself. Cant charge a phone since it wont stay on long enough. Try airing up a tire when it shuts off every 5 seconds. Stanley will not back it up either. Holding by their 1 year warranty.

I have purchased 5 of these. The first two lasted for years, worked great. The last 3? Stopped taking a charge without warning. Could not use them when i needed them. Left me stranded. Not sure what their manufacturer did wrong with the newer ones.

Worked fine when it worked

Do not Buy! Stopped working after 3 uses. I last used it to start a pickup that had a battery drain from a interior light that was left on. Started the truck just fine, and by the time I came back around to unhook the unit it was beeping and smoking. The unit was fried internally, and stopped working. The unit was still under the 1 year warranty, but please note: "To claim the warranty you half to ship it back to manufacturer at your cost". My cost for shipping was going to be $32.00. Terrible policy if you ask me. I will be using this shipping cost to go toward another better rated unit, probably a smaller lighter weight lithium battery model.
