This little unit is a workhorse. I bought it today and needed to use it to pump car tires that got really low with the bitter cold temperature. It filled 2 very low tires in 12 minutes and 2 slightly low tires in 4 minutes. While that seemed like a long time, I can't complain because the typical gas station free air compressor valves aren't always maintained. And to my surprise it was FULLY charged upon purchase. I'm going to buy a second one for our other vehicle.

Had for a couple of years, barely used for jumping, 3rd time using, wouldn’t power off, recharged, wouldn’t jump, no power to cables, still wouldn’t power off but held charge so it beeped insistently for days. Finally charged back up thinking it was a fluke. Nope, no jump, air compressor never tried doesn’t work, usb works, but won’t turn off, so other than a battery charger for phones, it’s useless.

This might be a great product. I have yet to find out as it comes with no charge. I had a dead battery so I ran into Sam's and picked this up. That it as not charged became an issue so I went to a receeptical to charge it. There was no cord. Apparently, you must supply an outdoor single end power cord. Now that might be fine if at home and in my shop. It has a plug prong that looks like it pulled out to charge the unit but it does not come out. I tried prying it out. No mention for you to supply cord or it is worthless. The manual shows everything but the power. Very strange.

I bought this to replace an existing one I had that all of a sudden stopped working. However I had to exchange it due to malfunctioning buttons and the one I got leaks air in the air compressor. I am going to exchange it one more time and if that one is defective to then I am going to have to just get a refund.

Keeps turning on and off by itself. Randomly turns on Alternator Check and beeps, then turns off. This happens several times during the day/night. I've read several comments on other sites that are complaining of similar issues. I like Stanley tools, but this one is a fail.

Bought one for myself. It’s nice to not have to rely on someone else. Unlike the old fashioned jumper cables. This isn’t all over the place. Has a nice, bright light. Can charge 4 cell phones at one time. My fav is the air compressor. You set the psi and it stops automatically. A bit noisy but that’s understandable. Great item. Loved it so much the next day we got our son one.

I bought it 3 years ago and we use it often. We use the compressor for our car tires, bikes, balls and use the USB charging ports when we get together outdoors. We love it. I often lend it to my nephew and sister. Needless to say we have gotten our money's worth.

Hello, I purchased your Stanley FAT MAX JUMP STARTER MODEL PP1DCS just a few months ago. I would like a copy of the owners or operation manual or some type of instructions. When I connect it to my 12 Volt car battery it shows the voltage and I presume an alternator symbol that just blinks constantly. It also when switched to the ON position starts to beep. I am looking for some explanation of these symbols and sound plus if I leave the fully charged FAT MAX JUMP STARTER model PP1DCS attached to the 12V battery for 15 minutes while in the ON position and the BEEPING SOUND ONGOING IS THAT ADDING TO THE CHARGE OF THE BATTERY? This little machine works well, I have owned it for about a year .n It works even when its well below zero and has been siting in an un heated garage, The only bad thing I have about it is that it did not come with a power cord , and the charge indicator could be improved.

Great product until the air compressor stopped working 18 months after purchase. I liked the versatility and ability to pump up various tires without having to be plugged in, as well as the ability to charge portable devices. But the air compressor has some internal malfunction. it still runs but does not produce any air pressure. Sent a note to Stanley support and they pushed it to some other group - never heard back from them so I will probably stay away from buying a Stanley product that has any moving parts.
