Newly purchased it needed > 12 hours of charging till fully charged ( manual says up to 40 ). The positive and negative leads are too short to connect to a piece of frame. Forced to just put both leads to battery. One jump later, battery back at two bars, needing 4-6 hours of charging. Left alone for two days. Plugged it in. Back at two bars, needing > 3 hours to get back to fully charged??? LED is a gimmick. Have not tried the inflator, which hose seems equally short.

The unit looks good, the led's are bright and it has the feel of a heavy duty unit. I haven't tested the air pump on tires yet but saw that a few people complained about the pump's short lifespan. All of my previous portable jumpers had a cigarette lighter plug, so I was surprised that this model did not. It's important to me because my 120v inverter is powered through the cigarette lighter. This unit also doesn't come with a charging cable which you have to buy separately.

This product is great !!!....and NOT DESIGNED TO FAIL (as by a previous post person). I have had this for YEARS. it has NEVER FAILED. It keeps a good, solid , charge and I have used it many many times to jump other car owners in distress. Shuts down correctly, PSI is correct when pumping air. I cant say anything bad about this product. It does not come with an extension cord to charge.....no big deal at all. It charges very easily.

Bought this Black Friday. Charged it up when I got home like the instructions say to do. Used it the next day to "top-off" my tire pressure on my car. It took so long for it to pump up to 40 psi. It ran out of charge while pumping up my third tire. I recharged it again over night. Tried to jump start my tractor and it wouldn't do it. Then I tried to pump up the tires on the tractor, and it would run but it wouldn't pump up the tire. This one is a piece of junk. Plan to return it the next time I get to Sam's. Not sure yet if I want to get a replacement or just get a refund and try a different brand.

Keeps turning on and off by itself. Randomly turns on Alternator Check and beeps, then turns off. This happens several times during the day/night. I've read several comments on other sites that are complaining of similar issues. I like Stanley tools, but this one is a fail.

how do I find out about a warranty or some type of fix for a bad screen? cannot read voltage or psi so it renders the product virtually useless. I loved it for the 3 months it worked as a quick rescue device for roadside emergencies, now o can't use it as it won't hold charge and I cannot read the screen. HELP STANLEY! I am a firm believer in the quality of products you produce, but this one is troubling me

I bought it 3 years ago and we use it often. We use the compressor for our car tires, bikes, balls and use the USB charging ports when we get together outdoors. We love it. I often lend it to my nephew and sister. Needless to say we have gotten our money's worth.

This might be a great product. I have yet to find out as it comes with no charge. I had a dead battery so I ran into Sam's and picked this up. That it as not charged became an issue so I went to a receeptical to charge it. There was no cord. Apparently, you must supply an outdoor single end power cord. Now that might be fine if at home and in my shop. It has a plug prong that looks like it pulled out to charge the unit but it does not come out. I tried prying it out. No mention for you to supply cord or it is worthless. The manual shows everything but the power. Very strange.

This is very defective, and the company is telling me that I cannot return it for an exchange. It would not shut off, and it smelled HOT, AND THEY JUST BLAMED ME!! FROM THE BEGINNING 1. Absolutely will not charge according to instructions. I even contacted the company. I did everything they said. They ignored everything I said... They insisted there is an indicator light... There is NO indicator light. AND the volts go up and down constantly... 2. It would NOT turn off, and after it was in the trunk a while it started smelling HOT. So I brought it in the house, put it in the bathtub (with no water), and let it die. 3. If you can find the Manual online, it's the biggest MESS of a Manual I have EVER seen. Looked like a kindergartener put it together. The formatting is unbelievable. 4. It came with NO adapter to inflate Tires. It has a hose with male threads on the end, but no way to inflate a tire, at all.

I do wish I would have read the reviews 1st! It doesn't work like I thought it would when I bought it. But I'll take the loss for not doing more thorough research beforehand. But the thing doesn't even do what it's supposed to do. It doesn't charge batteries very well. I doesn't pump up tires very effectively. I have to search for some type of instructions online every time I use it. It takes longer to charge it than it does for it to lose the charge when it's not in use. It was a terrible waste of money and I'll admit I'm very upset about this purchase, considering I had regarded Stanley and at least a decent product manufacturer.
