It could be caused by left over product such as hair spray or mousse. We recommend brushing hair prior to shampooing. If that does not remove the residue, try a clarifying shampoo, such as our Pure Clean & Clarify Silicone & Fragrance Free Shampoo.

I just ran out of this, and had the hydration sulfate free stinky shampoo. Going back to get more of this tomorrow, double checked and this is the one that lathers well and smells good.

Drying For Some

I thought this would be an awesome shampoo at a great value. Unfortunately for me it dries my hair out but for my daughter it seems to be ok. You'll never know how your hair reacts unless you try it though.

Great shampoo and conditioner

I didn't even wanna rinse my hair because it smells so great. It's very moisturizing and so I didn't even need to use product besides this shampoo and conditioner. I'm using it for my daughter's hair too. And so I would definitely recommend it to others.

Silky and effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been bougie about using salon brands of shampoo, especially because I bleach my hair and it needs the extra love. But I really feel that this shampoo is taking care of my hair, and even the shampoo phase (versus conditioning) feels silky. I have fine hair so I was worried it would weight it down, but that is not the case at all. It smells amazing and continues to smell amazing in my hair for days. I think this drug store option competes with the salon brands.

Great Lather and shine

Great for thick, curly hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve noticed that my hair is beginning to repair from years of blow drying or straightening. My curls are also starting to come back to life a bit. It has made my hair more oily, and I notice I can not let it go as long between washes. I think I will continue to use this periodically but not all the time.
