Gave these cards out to customers and was informed that they are not activated. Apparently this is a very common issue with these cards. Wish I would have read the reviews first.

These came not activated. Now have to go to samclub and hopefully they can give me knew ones or activated these ones . I needed these for customers for Sunday smh

I gifted these cards and also was told that the balance on these cards was zero. I reached out to Sam's Card and also Starbucks and received no help. My gift recipient has now sent the Zero balance cards back to me!

Cards didn’t active they didn’t add money in the Starbucks gift card I bought 9 of them so,that ‘a fine if you have more time and money to waste . I reached out to Sam and they cannot do anything .

Gift cards are not activated. Have $0 balance. How embarrassing to give as a gift. Sams club says to call Starbucks, Starbucks says it is in Sams Club hands.

So I ordered a card during black Friday. Thankfully, I checked to see if it was activated, and it was not! Called customer service 3x,went to Sam's in person. Unfortunately, they couldn't help me there because it was an online purchase, and I couldn't return it either. So finally called customer service there . While i was at the store, they finally decided to send a replacement. Guess what!? It was unactivated again!! So disappointing. I called again! According to the agent, they will do a "follow-up" and send another replacement! So annoying! Never again!

Sam's is aware of the cards not being activated, so why do they continue to sell them? This is bad business. I had to report the issue to my credit card bank as fraud since Sam's was taking so long to fix the issue. I also looked like a fool passing out gift cards as gifts to folks only to hear back from these folks that the gift cards don't work.

Cards will not work. Store would not refund my money. Cannot return cards you have given away. I was sent second set and they would not work either. I wish Sam’s would address this manner and send out an email to warn people about this and tell us what to do about money lost. I spent over a 100.00.

DO NOT buy these!! I bought two sets ($60 total) and the cards came with no money on them. I spent 3 hours on the phone with sam’s club, Starbucks and even went into Starbucks and spoke with a manager. Both companies said to talk to the other. What a terrible customer service experience, and no one could track the cards and take responsibility for them not being activated. Finally, Sam’s club sent an email to their “back office” and I received an email two days later that my cards had finally been activated. I will never buy gift cards online again. I don’t trust their process and it’s hard to follow up with problems…
